4 4 Veiligheidsinformatie VEILIGHEIDSINFORMATIE Lees voor uw eigen veiligheid en correcte werking van het apparaat eerst deze handleiding aandachtig door, alvorens het apparaat te installeren. Bewaar deze instructies altijd bij het apparaat, zelfs wanneer u deze verplaatst of verkoopt. Gebruikers moeten volledig op de hoogte zijn van de bediening en veiligheidsfuncties van het apparaat. Algemene veiligheid WAARSCHUWING! Mensen (met inbegrip van kinderen) met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of verstandelijke vermogens of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis mogen dit apparaat niet gebruiken. Zij moeten onder toezicht staan of instructies krijgen over het gebruik van dit apparaat van iemand die verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid. Veiligheid tijdens het gebruik Verwijder al het verpakkingsmateriaal, stickers en folie van het apparaat, voordat u het in gebruik neemt. Schakel de kookzones na ieder gebruik uit. Gevaar voor brandwonden! Leg geen metalen voorwerpen, zoals bestek of deksels op de kookplaat; deze kunnen zeer heet worden. Gebruikers met geïmplanteerde pacemakers moeten hun bovenlichaam op een afstand van ten minste 30 cm van ingeschakelde inductiekookzones houden. WAARSCHUWING! Brandgevaar! Oververhitte vetten en oliën kunnen snel in brand vliegen. Gebruik conform de voorschriften Controleer het apparaat altijd tijdens gebruik. Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bedoeld voor huishoudelijk gebruik! Het apparaat mag niet worden gebruikt als werkblad of aanrecht. Plaats geen brandbare vloeistoffen, licht ontvlambare materialen of voorwerpen die kunnen smelten (bijv. plastic folie, plastic, aluminium) op of in de buurt van het apparaat. Pas op als u het apparaat aansluit in de buurt van een stopcontact. Voorkom contact tussen elektrische verbindingen en het apparaat of heet kookgerei. Voorkom dat elektrische verbindingen verstrikt raken.

5 Montage-instructies 5 Voorkoming van beschadiging van het apparaat Het glaskeramische oppervlak kan beschadigd raken als er voorwerpen op vallen. Kookgerei dat gemaakt is van gietijzer, aluminium of met beschadigde bodems, kunnen krassen veroorzaken op de glaskeramische plaat als deze over het oppervlak worden geschoven. Laat kookgerei niet droogkoken, om schade aan het kookgerei en het glaskeramische oppervlak te voorkomen. Gebruik de kookzones niet met leeg kookgerei of zonder kookgerei erop. Leg nooit aluminiumfolie over welk deel van het apparaat ook. De ventilatieruimte van 5 mm tussen het werkblad en de voorzijde van het onderliggende apparaat mag niet worden afgedekt. WAARSCHUWING! Als er een scheur in het oppervlak zit, haalt u de stekker uit het stopcontact om elektrische schokken te voorkomen. 6 6 Montage-instructies Veiligheidsvoorschrift WAARSCHUWING! Lees deze voorschriften zorgvuldig door! Controleer of het apparaat tijdens het transport niet beschadigd is. Sluit geen beschadigd apparaat aan. Neem indien nodig contact op met de leverancier. Alleen een geautoriseerde onderhoudstechnicus kan dit apparaat installeren, aansluiten of repareren. Gebruik alleen originele reserveonderdelen. Inbouwapparaten mogen alleen worden gebruikt nadat zij ingebouwd zijn in geschikte inbouwunits of werkbladen die aan de normen voldoen. Wijzig de specificaties van het product of het product zelf niet. Gevaar voor letsel en schade aan het apparaat. De wetten, voorschriften, richtlijnen en normen die van kracht zijn in het land waar het apparaat wordt gebruikt, dienen in acht genomen te worden (veiligheidsvoorschriften, correcte recycling overeenkomstig de voorschriften, veiligheidsvoorschriften met betrekking tot elektrische installaties, enz.)! Houd de minimumafstanden naar andere apparaten en units in acht! Bescherm de onderkant van het apparaat tegen stoom en vocht, bijv. van een afwasmachine of oven! Installeer het apparaat niet naast deuren of onder ramen! Anders kan het hete kookgerei van de kookplaat worden gestoten, als de deuren of ramen worden geopend. WAARSCHUWING! Risico van verwonding door elektrische stroom. Volg de instructies voor de elektrische aansluitingen nauwkeurig op. De netaansluiting staat onder stroom. Schakel de stroomtoevoer naar de netaansluiting uit. Op de juiste wijze installeren om elektrische schokken te voorkomen. Loszittende en onvakkundig aangebrachte stekkerverbindingen kunnen oververhitting van de aansluiting veroorzaken. Laat de klemaansluitingen correct installeren door een gekwalificeerde elektricien. Zorg ervoor dat het snoer niet wordt belast door trekken. In het geval van een eenfase-aansluiting, moet het geschikte netsnoer van het type H05BB-F Tmax. 90 C (of hoger) worden gebruikt. Vervang de beschadigde voedingskabel door een speciale kabel (type H05BB-F Tmax 90 C of hoger). Neem contact op met onze serviceafdeling. Het apparaat moet met een poolschakelaar op een elektrisch circuit zijn aangesloten, met een contactopening van minstens 3 mm, zodat het apparaat te allen tijde uitgeschakeld kan worden.

7 Montage-instructies 7 U dient te beschikken over de juiste isolatievoorzieningen: stroomonderbrekers, zekeringen (schroefzekeringen moeten uit de houder worden verwijderd), aardlekschakelaars en contactgevers. Als u het als accessoire geleverde frame C-FRAME gebruikt, moet u eerst de met het frame meegeleverde instructies lezen voordat u het apparaat installeert. Trek overmatige siliconen eraf met de schraper. De installatie van meer dan één apparaat Aanvullende onderdelen:aansluitstang(en), hittebestendig silicone, afsluitstrip. Gebruik alleen speciaal hittebestendig silicone. De opening in het werkblad Afstand vanaf de muur: minimaal 50 mm Diepte: 490 mm Breedte: de bij elkaar opgetelde breedtes van alle apparaten die moeten worden ingebouwd, min 20 mm (zie ook "Overzicht van alle apparaatbreedtes") Voorbeeld: 360 mm - 20 mm = 920 mm 490 mm mm 580 mm De installatie van meer dan één apparaat 1. Bepaal de afmeting van de opening van het werkblad en zaag het uit. 2. Plaats de apparatuur, een voor een, op een zacht oppervlak zoals een deken met de onderkant omhoog.

9 Montage-instructies Trek de afdichtstrip rondom de onderrand van het apparaat langs de buitenrand van de glazen keramische plaat. Plaats het wokapparaat in de opening van het werkblad. Plaats de verbindingstang in de opening van het werkblad en duw de halve breedte omhoog tegen het apparaat. 5. Haak de klemmen in de beschermende behuizing van het wokapparaat. 6. Plaats het volgende apparaat in de opening van het werkblad. Zorg dat de voorkant van de apparaten met elkaar zijn uitgelijnd Draai de schroeven van de bevestigingsplaat/vasthoudgreep aan. Dicht de kier tussen het aanrecht en de apparaten en tussen de apparaten met siliconenkit. 9. Breng wat sop op de silicone aan. 10. Duw de rubberen kitstrijker met enige kracht tegen de glaskeramische plaat en beweeg deze langzaam langs de hele naad. 11. Raak het silicone pas weer aan als het is uitgehard. Dit kan een dag duren. 12. Verwijder het silicone dat eruit steekt voorzichtig met een scheermesje.

Het kookgerei is niet geschikt of te klein, of er is geen kookgerei op de kookzone geplaatst. De functie Automatische uitschakelen is in werking getreden. OptiHeat Control (3-staps restwarmte-indicatie) WAARSCHUWING! \ \ Gevaar van brandwonden door restwarmte! OptiHeat Control geeft het niveau van de restwarmte aan. De inductiekookzones creëren de voor het koken benodigde warmte direct in de bodem van de pan. Het glaskeramiek wordt verwarmd door de warmte van de pannen.

12 12 Bedieningsinstructies Accessoires De WOK-pan (meegeleverd) 390 mm, 6 liter Met 2 hendels WOK P 6.0 roestvrijstaal Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde WOK-pan. BEDIENINGSINSTRUCTIES In- en uitgeschakeld Raak gedurende 1 seconde aan om het apparaat in- en uit te schakelen. Automatisch uitschakelen De functie schakelt de kookplaat automatisch uit als: Alle kookzones zijn uitgeschakeld. U de kookstand niet instelt nadat u de kookplaat hebt ingeschakeld. U langer dan 10 seconden een voorwerp op een sensorveld legt (een pan, een doek etc.). Het geluidssignaal blijft klinken tot u het voorwerp hebt weggehaald. De kookplaat te heet wordt (b.v. als een pan droogkookt). De kookzone moet afgekoeld zijn voordat u deze weer kunt gebruiken. U ongeschikte pannen gebruikt. verschijnt en na 2 minuten stopt de kookzone automatisch. U een kookzone niet uitschakelt of de kookstand verandert. Na enige tijd gaat branden en wordt de kookplaat uitgeschakeld. Zie de tabel. Automatische uitschakeltijden Temperatuurinstelling Stopt na 6 uur uur 4 uur 1,5 uur Temperatuurinstelling Raak de bedieningsstrip daar aan waar de gewenste kookstand zich bevindt. Corrigeer naar links of rechts, indien nodig Laat niet los voordat de juiste kookstand is bereikt. Het display toont de kookstand.

13 Bedieningsinstructies 13 De powerfunctie in- en uitschakelen De Powerfunctie maakt meer vermogen beschikbaar voor de inductiekookzones. De Powerfunctie wordt maximaal 5 minuten geactiveerd. Daarna wordt de inductiekookzone automatisch teruggeschakeld naar kookstand 14. Om de inductiekookzone te activeren, druk op,. Raak een kookstand aan om uit te schakelen. Timer U kunt de timerfunctie selecteren met behulp van. De timer met aftelfunctie Gebruik de timer met aftelfunctie om in te stellen hoe lang de kookzone op dat moment moet werken. De kookzone wordt automatisch gedeactiveerd na afloop van de ingestelde tijd. De selectie van de timer met aftelfunctie is mogelijk wanneer de kookzone is ingeschakeld en de kookstand is ingesteld. Wanneer deze functie wordt ingeschakeld, gaat branden. De timer met aftelfunctie activeren: raak van de timer aan om de tijd in te stellen ( minuten). Als het lampje van de kookzone langzamer gaat knipperen, wordt de tijd afgeteld. Resterende tijd weergeven: raak herhaaldelijk aan totdat gaat branden. Op het display wordt de resterende tijd weergegeven. De timer met aftelfunctie wijzigen:raak herhaaldelijk aan totdat gaat branden. Raak dan of aan. De timer met aftelfunctie deactiveren: raak herhaaldelijk aan totdat gaat branden. Raak vervolgens aan. De resterende tijd telt af tot 00. Als de afteltijd van de timer is verstreken, klinkt er een geluidssignaal en knippert 00. De kookzone wordt uitgeschakeld. Het geluid uitschakelen: aanraken van De timer met optelfunctie Gebruik de timer met optelfunctie om te controleren hoe lang de kookzone wordt gebruikt. Wanneer deze functie wordt ingeschakeld, gaat branden. De timer met optelfunctie activeren: raak aan. Het symbool gaat uit en gaat branden. Om in de gaten te houden hoelang de kookzone werkt: raak herhaaldelijk aan totdat gaat branden. Het display geeft de tijd aan die de kookzone werkt. De timer met optelfunctie deactiveren: raak herhaaldelijk aan totdat gaat branden en raak aan. Het symbool gaat uit en gaat branden. De timer met optelfunctie resetten: Raak aan. De tijd telt af tot 00. Wanneer de twee timerfuncties tegelijkertijd in werking zijn, geeft het display eerst de timer die omhoog telt weer.

14 14 Bedieningsinstructies De kookwekker. U kunt de timer gebruiken als kookwekker als de kookzones uitgeschakeld zijn. Raak aan. Raak of van de timer aan om de tijd in te stellen. Een veilige werking van het apparaat in overeenstemming met EN60335 kan alleen worden gegarandeerd als de meegeleverde wokpan wordt gebruikt. Pannen met een platte bodem mogen niet worden gebruikt. Het gebruik van de wok Plaats de wokpan voorzichtig in de cuvette. Bij onvoorzichtig gebruik kan de handgreep hard tegen de glaskeramische oppervlakte komen en deze beschadigen. De wokpan niet schudden terwijl hij in de cuvette ligt. Er kunnen dan krassen op de hendel komen of er kan andere schade aan de glaskeramische plaat worden veroorzaakt. 16 16 Nuttige aanwijzingen en tips Öko Timer (Eco-timer) Om energie te besparen schakelt het verwarmingselement van de kookzone zichzelf eerder uit dan het signaal van de timer met aftelfunctie klinkt. De verwarmingstijdreductie wordt bepaald door het kookniveau en de kooktijd. Tips voor het koken met de wok De inductiewok is uitstekend geschikt voor de bereiding van 'a la minute'-gerechten, met name Chinese specialiteiten. Het gerecht moet tijdens de korte bereikdingstijd voortdurend geroerd worden. Door het inductieverhittingssysteem kunnen gerechten in de wokpan uiterst snel en bij grote hitte bereid worden. Daardoor blijven vlees en vis mals en groente behoudt zijn kleur, smaak en vitaminen. WAARSCHUWING! Let op! Gevaar voor verbranding door oververhitte vetten en oliën. De inductiewok heeft met name vanaf kookstand 9 een hoge prestatie bij snelle reactietijd. Vet en olie worden erg snel te heet. Het is te heet als het begint te roken. Bij koken met olie of vet het apparaat niet zonder toezicht laten. Met kleine hoeveelheid voedsel/olie, hoeft u de powerfunctie slechts heel even te gebruiken. Anders loopt u risico de wokpan te beschadigen. Met behulp van de test met de houten lepel kan de frituurtemperatuur goed geschat worden. Steek de steel van een houten lepel in het hete vet: Als er kleine bubbeltjes naar boven komen, dan is de frituurtemperatuur bereikt. Als er geen bubbeltjes te zien zijn, dan is de frituurtemperatuur nog niet bereikt. Bereidingsmethodes voor de wok Roerbakken Laat olie in de wok wervelen. Snij de ingrediënten in kleine stukjes. Voeg saus en kruiden toe en bak het geheel snel op een hoge stand, terwijl u blijft roeren. De kooktijd is erg kort. Zorg dat de ingrediënten voor het wokken zijn voorbereid. Beginnen met de ingrediënten die de langste kooktijd hebben. Roebakken is een zeer gezonde kookmethode. Groenten behouden hun smaak en kleur en blijven mooi en knapperig. Kleine stukjes vlees blijven mals. Frituren De wok biedt een zeer lage temperatuurdaling en u verbruikt weinig olie. De gerechten die gefrituurd worden, nemen door de constante temperatuur weinig vet op. Vlees, vis, aardappelen, groente, enz. behouden een gelijkmatige kleur en korst en daardoor hun typische smaak Alleen speciaal voor frituren geschikte vetten gebruiken.

17 Onderhoud en reiniging 17 Pocheren / Kloppen De gewelfde vorm van de wok maakt hem geschikt voor het opkloppen van crèmes, sabayone, botersauzen, beslag voor koekjes- of parfait zonder waterbad bij 65 C tot 80 C. Stoven Als u het voedsel in het eigen vocht kookt, of een heel klein beetje vet en ander vocht toevoegt. Stomen Dit is een gezonde kookmethode, waarbij de inhoud en kleur van de voedingsstoffen in het eten goed bewaard blijft. Om die reden adviseren wij levensmiddelen zoveel mogelijk bij lage temperaturen gaar te laten worden en de gerechten niet te veel te bruinen. ONDERHOUD EN REINIGING Reinig het apparaat na elk gebruik. Gebruik altijd kookgerei met een schone bodem. WAARSCHUWING! Scherpe voorwerpen en schurende reinigingsmiddelen beschadigen het apparaat. Het reinigen van het apparaat met een stoomstraal- of hogedrukreiniger is om veiligheidsredenen verboden.

18 18 Problemen oplossen Krassen of donkere vlekken in de glaskeramiek hebben geen invloed op de werking van het apparaat. Vuil verwijderen: 1. Verwijder direct:gesmolten plastic, gesmolten folie en suikerhoudende gerechten. Anders kan het vuil het apparaat beschadigen. Gebruik een speciale schraper voor de glazen plaat. Plaats de schraper schuin op de glazen plaat en verwijder resten door het blad over het oppervlak te schuiven. Verwijder nadat het apparaat voldoende is afgekoeld:kalkvlekken, waterkringen, vetvlekken, glimmende metaalachtige verkleuringen. Gebruik een speciaal schoonmaakmiddel voor glaskeramiek of roestvrij staal. 2. Reinig het apparaat met een vochtige doek en een beetje afwasmiddel. 3. Wrijf het apparaat ten slotte droog met een schone doek. WAARSCHUWING! Gebruik geen schraper of scherpe objecten om de glazen balk, de ruimte ertussen en de glaskeramische plaat mee schoon te maken. De glazen balk is op de glaskeramische plaat bevestigd. Plaats geen pannen op de glazen balk. Zorg dat de glazen balk niet door pannen wordt aangeraakt. PROBLEMEN OPLOSSEN Probleem Mogelijke oorzaak en oplossing U kunt het apparaat niet inschakelen of bedienen. U hebt twee of meer sensorvelden tegelijk aangeraakt. Raak slechts één sensorveld tegelijk aan. Er bevindt zich water of vetspatten op het bedieningspaneel. Reinig het bedieningspaneel. Schakel het apparaat opnieuw in en stel de kookstand binnen 7 seconden in. De kinderbeveiliging of toetsblokkering Stop+Go is actief. Zie het hoofdstuk Bediening van het apparaat. Er klinkt een geluid als het apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld. U hebt een of meer sensorvelden afgedekt. Verwijder het voorwerp van de sensorvelden. De restwarmte-indicator gaat niet aan. De kookzone is niet heet, omdat hij slechts kortstondig is bediend. Als de kookzone heet moet zijn, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice. De kookstand schakelt tussen twee kookstanden. Het vermogensbeheer is ingeschakeld. Zie het hoofdstuk Vermogensbeheer.

Gebruik het juiste kookgerei. De diameter aan de bodem van de pan is te klein voor de kookzone. Zet het kookgerei op een kleinere kookzone. en een getal gaan branden. Er heeft zich een fout in het apparaat voorgedaan. Ontkoppel het apparaat enige tijd van de stroomtoevoer. Ontkoppel de zekering uit het elektrische systeem van het huis. Sluit het weer gaat branden, neem dan apparaat opnieuw aan. Als contact op met de klantenservice. gaat branden. Er klinkt geen signaal wanneer u de sensorvelden van het bedieningspaneel aanraakt. Er heeft zich een fout voorgedaan in het apparaat omdat er een pan is drooggekookt. De oververhittingsbeveiliging voor de kookzone is in werking getreden. De automatische uitschakeling is in werking getreden. Schakel het apparaat uit. Verwijder het hete kookgerei. Schakel dient uit te de kookzone na ongeveer 30 seconden weer in. gaan op het display, het lampje van de restwarmte kan nog branden. Laat het kookgerei afkoelen en controleer in het hoofdstuk Kookgerei of de pan geschikt is voor inductiekookplaten. De signalen zijn uitgeschakeld. Activeer de signalen (zie In- en uitschakelen van de geluiden). Als u door het volgen van de bovenstaande suggesties het probleem niet kunt oplossen, dient u contact op te nemen met uw vakhandelaar of de klantenservice. Geef de gegevens door van het typeplaatje, een driecijferige code voor de glaskeramische plaat (bevindt zich op de hoek van de kookplaat) en de foutmelding die wordt weergegeven. Bij foutieve bediening van het apparaat wordt het bezoek van de technicus van de klantenservice of de vakhandelaar in rekening gebracht, zelfs tijdens de garantieperiode. De instructies over de klantenservice en de garantiebepalingen vindt u in het garantieboekje. 30 30 Operating instructions OptiHeat Control indicates the level of the residual heat. The induction cooking zones make the heat necessary for cooking directly in the bottom of the cookware. The noises are normal and do not refer to appliance malfunction.

34 34 Helpful hints and tips Energy saving If possible, always put the lids on the cookware. Put cookware on a cooking zone before you start it. Öko Timer (Eco Timer) To save the energy, the heater of the cooking zone switches itself off earlier than count down timer signal. The heating time reduction depends on cooking level and cooking time. The tips for cooking with the wok The induction wok is best for preparing "a la minute" dishes, in particular Chinese specialities. The food is continuously turned during the short frying time. The induction heating system means that in the wok you can cook very quickly and at high heat. As a result meat and fish stay succulent and vegetables keep their colour, taste and vitamins. WARNING! Take care! Risks of burns from overheated fats and oils. The induction wok has - specially at the heat setting 9 and above - a high power with very fast reaction time. Fat and oil become too hot very quickly. When it starts to smoke, it is too hot. When cooking with fat or oil do not leave the appliance unattended. With small quantity of food / oil use the Power function only for a short time. If not, there is the risk of damage to the wok pan. The frying temperature can be estimated by testing with a wooden spoon. Hold the handle of a wooden spoon in the hot fat: If small bubbles rise to the surface, the frying temperature has been reached. If there are no bubbles, the frying temperature has not yet been reached. Cooking methods for the wok Stir-frying Swirl the wok with oil. Cut the ingredients into small pieces. Add sauces and seasonings and quickly fry over a high heat while stirring continuously. The cooking time is very short. Make sure that the ingredients are prepared before you start cooking. Start with the ingredients with the longest cooking time. Stir-frying is a very healthy cooking method. Vegetables keep their taste and colour, and stay nice and crunchy. Small pieces of meat stay tender. Deep-frying The wok provides a very small drop in temperature and low oil consumption. Because of the constant temperature the fried food does not absorb much fat. Meat, fish, potatoes, vegetables, etc. keep an even colour and crust, and thus also the usual taste.

35 Care and cleaning 35 Only use fats that are specially intended for deep-frying. Poaching / Whipping The curved shape of the wok is suitable for whipping up custards, sabayons, butter sauces, fatless sponge or parfait mixtures without a bain marie at 65 C to 80 C. Simmering Boiling: to cook food (for example spaghetti) at the boiling point. Simmering: to cook food (for example dumplings) just under the boiling point. Stewing Cook the food in its own juice, or add of a little fat and other liquid. Use this method to cook food with a high water content (such as vegetables, fish and fruit) with a lid on over moderate heat, to keep the flavour. Steaming This is a gentle cooking method, which keeps a high level of the food s nutrient content and colour. Information on acrylamides Important! According to the newest scientific knowledge, if you brown food (specially the one which contains starch), acrylamides can pose a health risk. Thus, we recommend that you cook at the lowest temperatures and do not brown food too much. CARE AND CLEANING Clean the appliance after each use. Always use cookware with clean bottom. WARNING! Sharp objects and abrasive cleaning agents will damage the appliance. For your safety, do not clean the appliance with steam blasters or high-pressure cleaners. Scratches or dark stains on the glass ceramic have no effect on how the appliance operates.

36 36 What to do if To remove the dirt: 1. Remove immediately:melted plastic, plastic foil, and food with sugar. If not, the dirt can cause damage to the appliance. Use a special scraper for the glass. Put the scraper on the glass surface at an acute angle and move the blade on the surface.
