4 3 ENGLISH 1. SAFETY INFORMATION Carefully read the instructions before installing and using the equipment. The manufacturer is not liable for improper installation and use of the equipment that may cause injuries and damage. Always keep the instructions at hand, so they can be easily referred to during use Safety of children and vulnerable adults WARNING! Risk of choking, injury or permanent disability. This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they are given supervision or instructions concerning how to use the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children should not play with the appliance. Keep packaging materials away from children. Keep children and pets away from the appliance during operation or when cooling. Cleaning and maintenance should not be done by children without supervision Warnings on general safety During installation, follow the instructions supplied separately. Only qualified personnel can install the appliance and replace the cable. Do not use steam cleaners to clean the appliance.

5 Disconnect the appliance from the power supply before carrying out any maintenance operation. Do not use abrasive detergents or metal scrapers to clean the appliance. 2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Installation WARNING! Installation must be carried out by qualified personnel only Remove the packaging material. Do not install or use the appliance if damaged. Comply with the instructions supplied with the appliance. Always pay attention when moving the appliance and wear safety gloves. Do not turn the appliance upside down or tilt it! This may cause oil to leak from the pump and damage the equipment. Respect the minimum distance from other appliances. Make sure the appliance is installed and secured to a fixed structure. The sides of the appliance must be adjacent to other equipment or units having the same height Electrical connection WARNING! Risk of fire and electric shock. All the electrical connections must be made by a qualified electrician. The appliance must be earthed. Make sure that all the electrical data shown in the data plate of the model correspond to those of the system. Otherwise, contact an electrician. Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket. Do not use multi-plug adapters or extension cables. Make sure not to damage the mains plug and the mains cable. Contact the Assistance Service or an electrician to change any damaged mains cable. Shock protection devices must be fastened in such a way that they cannot be removed without tools. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only once installation has been completed. Make sure that the mains plug can be accessed after installation. Do not connect the mains plug if the mains socket is loose. Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Pull only the mains plug. Use only suitable isolation devices: circuit breakers, fuses (screw type fuses must be removed from the fuse holder), earth fault current releases and relays. The electric system must be equipped with a means for disconnection, with a contact separation in all poles that provide full disconnection under overvoltage category III.

6 5 ENGLISH 2.3. Use WARNING! Risk of injury, burns, electric shock or explosion Use this appliance in a household environment. Do not modify the specifications of this appliance. Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. Switch off the appliance after use. Do not use the appliance with wet hands or when it could come into contact with water. Do not apply pressure on the drawer. Do not use the appliance as a work surface or as a support surface. Avoid the presence of sparks or open flames near the appliance when you open the drawer. Do not place or keep flammable liquids, materials or objects on the appliance, or inside or close to it. WARNING! You may damage the appliance Pay attention when you remove or insert the accessories. Do not touch the sealing bar (5) immediately after sealing. You may get burnt due to the residual heat. In the event of a power failure during a work cycle with closed cover (3), do not force the cover with a tool to open it, wait until power is restored. Do not place any weight on the cover (3)! Prevent any object from falling on the cover! This can compromise the integrity, causing cracks or damage. Do not proceed with packaging if the cover has cracks or is broken. 3 5 Contact the Technical Assistance Service to replace it Cleaning and maintenance WARNING! There is a risk of injury, fire or damage. Before carrying out any maintenance operation, switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the mains socket Check that the appliance is cold. Clean the appliance on a regular basis to prevent the surface materials from wearing. Clean the appliance using a damp and soft cloth Use neutral detergents only. Do not use abrasive products, alcohol-based detergents, abrasive sponges, solvents or metal objects. Follow the safety instructions indicated on the packaging, in the event you use sprays Disposal WARNING! Risk of injury and choking. Disconnect the plug from the power supply. Remove the mains cable and dispose of it.

7 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION This product is ideal for: Vacuum food packaging for the SOUS VIDE cooking methods (see chapter 7). Removing the air from the pouches ensures perfect cooking results, thanks to the homogeneous heat. transfer and retention of minerals and vitamins that would otherwise be dispersed. Accessories Volume Reducer With these pouches, food can be stored and cooked at a temperature ranging between 0 C and 120 C (max. 30min at 120ºC) The supplied pouches are ideal for the sous vide vacuum cooking method. Pouches order code: pouches for vacuum cooking and storage. (25 pieces, dimensions: 20x30 cm + 25 pieces dimensions: 25x35 cm) External vacuum fitting (see chapter 9)

8 7 ENGLISH 4. BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety Cleaning for the first time Remove all the parts from the appliance. Clean the appliance before you use it for the first time. Refer to the "Cleaning and maintenance" chapter First connection Connect the appliance to the power supply. Use the ON/OFF switch locate to the left of the control panel to switch the appliance on. Before using the appliance, proceed with the Conditioning Program as shown below: Close the cover with the empty tank. Select program P7 using the keys,. Press Start. Wait for the cycle to end (about 3 minutes). At the end of the cycle, the display shows P7 again. Now the machine is ready for use. 5. Displays the selected functions and the relative setting data.

9 6. DAILY USE 8 Refer to the chapters on safety Switch the appliance on using the ON/OFF switch and wait until the display shows the last program performed (e.g. P1). Lift the cover and place the pouch containing the food to be packed inside the tank, leaving at least 2 cm beyond the sealing bar (see figure) For small products, use the supplied filler plate, as it helps position the pouch in the correct position with respect to the sealing bar. Close the cover and select the required program pressing DECREASE/INCREASE, and then press Start. During the vacuum stage, the display shows the progress (in percentage) until the set value is reached. The display now shows the sealing time, after which the environmental pressure is restored inside the tank. Now you can open the cover, as soon as the display shows the program number (e.g. P1). Programs from P1 to P5 can be set according to the consumer's requirements. By default, the set vacuum is 99.9% and the recommended sealing time for the supplied pouches is 2 seconds. These parameters are suitable for the normal use of the machine. Refer to the following table for other settings. This function must be used for packing liquid and hot products, which can boil during the vacuum cycle. MODIFYING THE PARAMETERS We recommend modifying the vacuum % parameters for some foods (see the recommended vacuum % table). The pouch sealing time can be modified (from 0 to 4 seconds) for pouches with different thickness compared to those supplied. To modify these parameters, proceed as follows: Press buttons, to select the program to be modified (e.g. P2). Press the selection button The display shows the vacuum percentage (99.9%). Enter the desired number by pressing buttons, Press the selection button The display shows the sealing time (2 seconds). Enter the desired value by pressing buttons, By pressing again, the display shows the program (e.g. P2). The displayed program means that the set parameters have been saved. 7. VACUUM FOOD PACKAGING FOR SOUS VIDE COOKING METHOD With this method, the food sealed in the vacuum pouch is then slowly steam cooked or cooked in low temperature water. Vacuum is set at 99.9%, which is ideal for this cooking method. The benefits provided are many: the flavour and texture of the food are better both flavour and aromas are preserved, as the cooking process does not disperse them The reduced loss of liquid makes the food softer and less dry. Nutrients like minerals and vitamins are preserved by the sealed pouch. You don't need to add oils or fats for cooking

Please remember that times are indicative. For cooked food, times refer to food refrigerated immediately after vacuum packaging. In the event of refrigerated food, make sure that the refrigerator can reach and maintain the required temperature. We always recommend checking the condition of the food before you eat it after a prolonged preservation.

12 11 ENGLISH MARINATING IN THE POUCH Use the ON/OFF switch located to the left of the control panel to switch the appliance on. Select one of the programs between P1 and P5 with vacuum at 99.9% and sealing time set at 2 seconds, using keys and. Place the food with the marinade inside the pouch. Place the pouch inside the tank. Close the cover and press Start. Open the cover, as soon as the display shows the program (e.g. P1). Store in the refrigerator for 9-12 hours 9. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS 9.1. P6 External vacuum This program must be used to eliminate the air inside special air-tight containers (not supplied with this product). Unscrew the intake fitting placed inside the tank Tighten the "external vacuum" fitting Connect this fitting to the container using the intake pipe. With the open cover, start the program by pressing Start This program allows only the "vacuum" program to be set P7 Conditioning Program This program must be used in the following situations: Before using the machine for the first time. After a long stop period. After having sealed products with high humidity content (e.g. soups). When you notice a decrease in performance of the machine (e.g.: time to reach vacuum is increased or it does not reach it at all). This program lasts about 3 minutes and ensures a complete cleaning of the pump, removing any liquid emulsion that might be found in the oil. Do not seal any product while this program is running. This program has no set variables. Follow the indications below to start the program:close the cover with the empty tank Select program P7 using keys and. Press Start. Wait for the cycle to end (about 3 minutes). At the end of the cycle, the display shows P7 again. Now the machine is ready for use

13 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety Clean the appliance after use. Clean the Plexiglas cover (3) inside and out using only neutral detergents (water and soap). Do not use abrasive products, alcohol-based detergents, abrasive sponges, solvents or metal objects. Follow the safety instructions indicated on the packaging, in the event you use sprays. Clean the sealing bar (5) using a dry cloth. Remove any film residue that deposits on the bar. Before cleaning the tank (4), especially when liquid remains are in, it is recommended to remove the sealing bar (5). Clean the metal surfaces using normal detergents suitable for stainless steel.

14 13 ENGLISH 11. TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING! Refer to the chapters on safety. PROBLEM CAUSE SOLUTION The pouch is not sealed correctly Final vacuum is poor The cover does not open The sealing time is not correct. The cover gasket is dirty or worn. The pouch is not placed correctly on the sealing bar. The sealing bar is worn (the Teflon coating is burnt). The blade placed under the Teflon of the sealing bar is broken. The set vacuum percentage is incorrect. The cover gasket is dirty or worn. The cover is not closed correctly. No power supply. If the machine does not work properly after the above-mentioned checks, contact the assistance service describing the detected defect. Alarm messages The appliance detects some alarms, which are displayed (11) with the following messages: OIL: Replace the pump oil. Contact the technical assistance service. OFF: The electronic board is blocked. Change the sealing time. Clean or replace the cover gasket (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Position the pouch correctly. Replace the sealing bar (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Replace the blade (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Change the vacuum percentage. Clean or replace the cover gasket (contact the Technical Assistance Service for a replacement). Close the cover correctly. Make sure that objects or dirt are not found between the cover and tank. Wait until the power supply is restored. Contact the technical assistance service. EAA: The appliance has not reached the vacuum within the maximum set time (160 seconds). Make sure the cover is closed correctly. The cover has not been closed during the P7 program Conditioning Program. Switch the appliance off and on to reset the alarm. FLA: Power supply voltage is low. Contact the technical assistance service.

15 ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS Recycle materials that carry this symbol..dispose of the packaging in special containers for recycling. Help protect the environment and human health and recycle waste deriving from electric and electronic devices. Do not dispose of appliances that carry this symbol together with domestic waste. ISTRUZIONI DI SICUREZZA 2.1. Installazione AVVERTENZA! L'installazione dell'apparecchiatura deve essere svolta unicamente da personale qualificato. Rimuovere tutti i materiali di imballaggio. Non installare e utilizzare l'apparecchiatura se è danneggiata. Attenersi alle istruzioni fornite insieme all'apparecchiatura. Prestare sempre attenzione in fase di spostamento dell'apparecchiatura, indossare sempre i guanti di sicurezza. Non capovolgere o inclinare l apparecchiatura! Questo da luogo alla fuoriuscita dell olio dalla pompa che potrebbe danneggiare l apparecchiatura stessa. È necessario rispettare le distanze minime dalle altre apparecchiature. Assicurarsi che l'apparecchiatura sia installata e adeguatamente ancorata a una struttura fissa. I lati dell'apparecchiatura devono restare adiacenti ad apparecchiature o unità con la stessa altezza Collegamento elettrico AVVERTENZA! Rischio di incendio e scossa elettrica. Tutti i collegamenti elettrici devono essere realizzati da un elettricista qualificato. L'apparecchiatura deve disporre di una messa a terra. Verificare che i dati elettrici riportati sulla targhetta del modello corrispondano a quelli dell'impianto. In caso contrario, contattare un elettricista. Utilizzare sempre una presa antishock elettrico correttamente installata. Non utilizzare prese multiple e prolunghe. Accertarsi di non danneggiare la spina e il cavo. Contattare il Centro di assistenza o un elettricista qualificato per sostituire un cavo danneggiato. I dispositivi di protezione da scosse elettriche devono essere fissati in modo tale da non poter essere disattivati senza l'uso di attrezzi. Inserire la spina di alimentazione nella presa solo al termine dell'installazione. Verificare che la spina di alimentazione rimanga accessibile dopo l'installazione

19 18 Nel caso in cui la spina di corrente sia allentata, non collegarla alla presa. Non tirare il cavo di alimentazione per scollegare l apparecchiatura. Tirare solo la spina. Servirsi unicamente di dispositivi di isolamento adeguati: interruttori automatici, fusibili (quelli a tappo devono essere rimossi dal portafusibile), sganciatori per correnti di guasto a terra e relè. L'impianto elettrico deve essere dotato di un interruttore onnipolare di protezione con apertura minima tra i contatti della categoria di sovratensione III 2.3. Utilizzo AVVERTENZA! Rischio di ferite, ustioni, scosse elettriche o esplosioni. Utilizzare l apparecchiatura in un ambiente domestico. Non apportare modifiche alle specifiche di questa apparecchiatura. Non mettere in funzione l'apparecchiatura con le mani umide o quando c'è un contatto con l'acqua. Non esercitare pressione sul cassetto. Non utilizzare l'apparecchiatura come superficie di lavoro o come piano di appoggio. Evitare la presenza di scintille o fiamme aperte vicino all'apparecchiatura quando si apre il cassetto. Non appoggiare o tenere liquidi o materiali infiammabili, né oggetti facilmente incendiabili sull'apparecchiatura, al suo interno o nelle immediate vicinanze. AVVERTENZA! Vi è il rischio di danneggiare l'apparecchiatura. Prestare attenzione quando si tolgono o inseriscono gli accessori. Non toccare la barra saldante (5) subito dopo la saldatura. Possibilità di scottature dovute al residuo calore sulla barra stessa. In caso di mancanza dell energia elettrica durante un ciclo di lavoro con coperchio (3) chiuso, non forzare l apertura del coperchio con nessun attrezzo, ma attendere il ripristino dell energia elettrica. Non appoggiare nessun peso sul coperchio (3)! Evitare di fare cadere qualunque oggetto sul coperchio! Questo potrebbe alterarne l integrità, causando cricche o rottura. Non procedere nel confezionamento in caso di cricche o rottura del coperchio. Contattare l assistenza tecnica per la sostituzione Pulizia e manutenzione AVVERTENZA! Vi è il rischio di lesioni, incendio o danni all'apparecchiatura Prima di eseguire qualunque intervento di manutenzione, spegnere l'apparecchiatura ed estrarre la spina dalla presa. 3 5

20 19 ITALIANO Controllare che l'apparecchiatura sia fredda. Pulire regolarmente l'apparecchiatura per evitare il deterioramento dei materiali che compongono la superficie. Pulire l'apparecchiatura con un panno inumidito e morbido. Utilizzare solo detergenti neutri. Non usare prodotti abrasivi, detergenti a base di alchool, spugnette abrasive, solventi od oggetti metallici. Nel caso in cui si usino spray, attenersi alle istruzioni di sicurezza indicate sulla confezione Smaltimento AVVERTENZA! Rischio di lesioni o soffocamento Staccare la spina dall'alimentazione elettrica. Tagliare il cavo di rete e smaltirlo. 3. DESCRIZIONE DEL PRODOTTO Questo prodotto è ideale per: Confezionamento alimenti sottovuoto per Cottura SOUS VIDE. L aspirazione dell aria pressoché totale all interno delle buste garantisce perfetti risultati di cottura grazie al trasferimento omogeneo di calore e al mantenimento di Sali minerali e vitamine che diversamente sarebbero disperse. 21 Accessori Tavoletta di riempimento Possono essere utilizzate da 0 C a 120 C (max. 30min at 120ºC) per la conservazione e la cottura di alimenti. Le buste fornite sono ideali per la cottura sottovuoto sous vide di alimenti. Cod. per ordine buste: buste per cottura sottovuoto e conservazione (25 pezzi dimensione: 20x30 cm + 25 pezzi dimensione 25x35 cm) Raccordo per vuoto esterno (vedere capitolo 7). 4. PREPARAZIONE AL PRIMO UTILIZZO AVVERTENZA! Fare riferimento ai capitoli sulla sicurezza Prima pulizia Rimuovere tutte le parti dall'apparecchiatura. Pulire l apparecchiatura prima del primo utilizzo. Fare riferimento al capitolo "Pulizia e cura" 4.2. Primo collegamento Collegare l'apparecchiatura alla rete elettrica. Accendere l apparechiatura tramite l interruttore ON/OFF, posto alla sinistra del pannello dei comandi Prima dell utilizzo procedere al Conditioning Program come illustrato di seguito: Chiudere il coperchio con la vasca vuota Selezionare il programma P7 con i tasti, i. Premere il tasto Start,. Attendere il completamento del ciclo (circa 3 minuti) Alla fine del ciclo il display visualizza di nuovo P7 A questo punto la macchina è pronta per l utilizzo.

Accendere l apparecchiatura tramite l interruttore ON/OFF e attendere qualche istante fino a quando il display visualizza l ultimo programma eseguito (es. P1). Sollevare il coperchio e posizionare nella vasca la busta con all interno l alimento da confezionare lasciando minimo 2 cm oltre la barra saldante ( vedi figura)

23 22 Per prodotti poco voluminosi utilizzare la tavoletta di riempimento in dotazione in quanto favorisce una migliore posizione della busta rispetto alla barra saldante. Chiudere completamente il coperchio e selezionare il programma desiderato premendo i pulsanti DECREMENTA/INCREMENTA ed in seguito premere il pulsante Start. Durante la fase di vuoto il display ne visualizza l avanzamento in percentuale fino al raggiungimento del valore impostato. Successivamente sarà visualizzato l avanzamento del tempo di saldatura al termine del quale viene ripristinata la pressione ambientale all interno della vasca. Sarà possibile quindi aprire il coperchio non appena sul display si visualizza il numero di programma (es. P1) I programmi da P1 a P5 sono impostabili in base alle esigenze del consumatore. L impostazione di fabbrica prevede 99,9% di vuoto e 2 secondi di tempo di saldatura che è consigliato per le buste in dotazione. Questi parametri risultano essere idonei per l utilizzo più comune della macchina. Per altre impostazioni fare riferimento alla tabella allegata di seguito. E inoltre possibile modificare il tempo di saldatura della busta (da 0 a 4 secondi) per buste con spessore diverso da quelle fornite. CONFEZIONAMENTO ALIMENTI SOTTOVUOTO PER COTTURA *SOUS VIDE* Questa tecnica prevede che gli alimenti sigillati nella busta sottovuoto siano poi cotti lentamente a vapore o in acqua a basse temperature. L impostazione del vuoto al 99,9% è ideale per questo tipo di cottura. I vantaggi sono innumerevoli: il sapore e la consistenza del cibo sono migliori i sapori e i profumi vengono preservati in quanto gli aromi non vengono persi durante la cottura la minore perdita di liquidi rende i cibi più morbidi e meno asciutti i nutrienti come Sali minerali e vitamine vengono preservati nell alimento dalla busta sigillata. non è necessario aggiungere né oli né grassi per la cottura. E sempre consigliabile accertarsi delle condizioni del cibo qualora si intenda consumarlo dopo una conservazione prolungata. MARINATURA IN BUSTA Accendere l apparecchiatura tramite l interruttore ON/OFF posto alla sinistra del pannello dei comandi Inserire nella busta l alimento con la marinata di aromi Inserire la busta nella vasca Selezionare con i tasti i uno dei programmi tra P1 e P5 con impostazione 99.9% di vuoto e 2 secondi di tempo saldatura. Chiudere il coperchio e premere il pulsante Start. Sarà possibile quindi aprire il coperchio non appena sul display si visualizza il programma (es. P1) Conservare poi in frigorifero per 9/12 ore.

FUNZIONI AGGIUNTIVE P6 Vuoto esterno È il programma da utilizzare per l eliminazione dell aria all interno di speciali contenitori richiudibili ermeticamente (non in dotazione con questo prodotto). Svitare il raccordo di aspirazione posto all interno della vasca Avvitare il raccordo per vuoto esterno Collegare questo raccordo, tramite un tubo di aspirazione, al contenitore A coperchio aperto avviare il programma premendo il pulsante Start. In questo programma è possibile impostare solamente il parametro vuoto. P7 Conditioning Program È il programma da utilizzare nelle seguenti situazioni: Prima di utilizzare la macchina per la prima volta. Dopo che questa è rimasta ferma per un periodo prolungato. Dopo aver confezionato prodotti con un alta percentuale di umidità (es. minestre e zuppe). Quando si nota un calo di prestazioni della macchina (es.: aumenta il tempo per raggiungere il vuoto o non lo raggiunge). Questo programma della durata di circa 3 minuti garantisce una pulizia completa della pompa eliminando qualsiasi emulsione di liquidi che si possono formare nell olio. Durante l esecuzione di questo programma non si deve confezionare nessun prodotto. Questo programma non ha variabili impostabili. Per avviare il programma eseguire le seguenti operazioni: Chiudere il coperchio con la vasca vuota Selezionare il programma P7 con i tasti i. Premere il tasto Start. Attendere il completamento del ciclo (circa 3 minuti). Alla fine del ciclo il display visualizza di nuovo P7. A questo punto la macchina è pronta per l utilizzo.

27 9. PULIZIA E CURA AVVERTENZA! Fare riferimento ai capitoli sulla sicurezza Pulire l apparecchiatura dopo ogni utilizzo. Per la pulizia del coperchio in plexiglas (3) pulire sia l esterno che l interno esclusivamente con detergenti neutri (acqua e sapone). Non usare prodotti abrasivi, detergenti a base di alcol, spugnette abrasive, solventi od oggetti metallici. Nel caso in cui si usino spray, attenersi alle istruzioni di sicurezza indicate sulla confezione. Pulire la barra saldante (5) con un panno asciutto. Rimuovere eventuali residui di film che si depositano sulla barra Per la pulizia della vasca (4), soprattutto in caso di residui liquidi, si consiglia di estrarre la barra saldante (5). Pulire le superfici metalliche con normali detergenti per l acciaio inox.

Messaggi di allarme L apparecchiatura prevede la rilevazione di alcuni allarmi che vengono segnalati tramite la visualizzazione sul display (11) dei seguenti messaggi: OIL: L olio della pompa è da sostituire.contattare l assistenza tecnica. Modificare il tempo di saldatura. Pulire o sostituire la guarnizione del coperchio (per la sostituzione contattare l assistenza tecnica). Posizionare correttamente la busta. Sostituire la barra saldante (per la sostituzione contattare l assistenza tecnica). Sostituire la lama (per la sostituzione contattare l assistenza tecnica). Modificare la percentuale di vuoto. Pulire o sostituire la guarnizione del coperchio (per la sostituzione contattare l assistenza tecnica). Chiudere correttamente il coperchio Verificare che tra coperchio e vasca del vuoto non ci siano oggetti o sporcizia. Attendere il ripristino dell energia elettrica.

29 28 OFF: La scheda elettronica è in blocco. Contattare l assistenza tecnica. EAA: L apparecchiatura non ha raggiunto il vuoto nel tempo massimo stabilito (160 secondi). Controllare che il coperchio sia chiuso correttamente. Nell esecuzione del programma P7 Conditioning Program non è stato chiuso il coperchio. Per resettare l allarme spegnere e riaccendere l apparecchiatura. FLA: La tensione di alimentazione è bassa. Contattare l assistenza tecnica. 11. CONSIDERAZIONI AMBIENTALI Riciclare i materiali con il simbolo. Buttare l'imballaggio negli appositi contenitori per il riciclaggio. Aiutare a proteggere l ambiente e la salute umana e a riciclare rifiuti derivanti da apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche. 32 31 SUOMI Irrota laitteen verkkojohto pistorasiasta, ennen kuin aloitat mitään huoltotoimenpiteitä. Laitteen puhdistamiseen ei saa käyttää hankaavia puhdistusaineita eikä metallisia raapimia. 2. TURVALLISUUSOHJEET 2.1. Asennus VAROITUS! Asennuksen saa suorittaa vain ammattitaitoinen henkilö. Poista laite pakkauksesta. Jos laite on vaurioitunut, sitä ei saa asentaa eikä käyttää. Pumpusta voi vuotaa öljyä, joka saattaa vahingoittaa laitetta. Noudata vähimmäisetäisyyksiä muihin laitteisiin nähden. Varmista, että laite on asennettu ja huolella kiinnitetty vankkaan asennuspohjaan. Laitteen vieressä olevien laitteiden ja kalusteiden korkeuden on oltava sama kuin itse laitteen Verkkoliitäntä VAROITUS! Tulipalo- ja sähköiskuvaara. 33 2.3. Käyttö VAROITUS! Olemassa on palovammojen ja sähköiskujen vaara sekä räjähdysvaara. Laite on tarkoitettu kotitalouskäyttöön. Laitteen teknisiä ominaisuuksia ei saa muuttaa. Älä jätä laitetta ilman valvontaa käytön aikana. Kytke laite käytön jälkeen pois päältä. Älä käytä laitetta märin käsin äläkä silloin, jos laite voi joutua kosketuksiin veden kanssa. Älä aseta kannen päälle painavia esineitä. Älä käytä laitetta työ- tai aputasona. Vältä kipinöitä tai avotulta laitteen lähellä kun kansi on auki. Älä laita laitteeseen tai säilytä sen lähellä syttyviä nesteitä tai esineitä. VAROITUS! Vältä vaurioittamasta laitetta. Ole varovainen, kun irrotat tai kiinnität lisätarvikkeita. Älä koske saumaustankoon (5) heti saumauksen jälkeen. Jälkilämpö voi aiheuttaa palovammoja. Jos sellaisen työvaiheen aikana, kun kansi (3) on kiinni, sattuu sähkökatkos, älä yritä avata kantta väkisin millään työkalulla, vaan odota kunnes sähkön jakelu taas toimii. Älä aseta painavia esineitä kannen (3) päälle! Huolehdi siitä, että kannelle ei voi pudota mitään esineitä. Näin vältät laitteen vaurioitumisen, kuten kannen halkeamisen. 34 33 SUOMI 3. LAITTEEN KÄYTTÖTARKOITUS Laitteen käyttötarkoitus: Ruoan tyhjiöpakkaaminen tyhjiökypsennystä varten (katso kappale 7). Ilman poistaminen pusseista takaa ruoan erinomaisen kypsennyksen tasaisen lämmönsiirron ansiosta sekä hivenaineiden ja vitamiinien säilymisen. Elintarvikkeiden tyhjiöpakkaaminen säilytystä varten (katso kappale 8). Elintarvikkeiden marinointi (katso kappale 8). ON/OFF-kytkin Käyttöpaneeli Kansi Säiliö Saumaustanko 3.1. Ennen kuin alat käyttää laitetta, aja esiohjelma seuraavasti: Sulje kansi säiliö tyhjänä. Valitse painikkeilla ja ohjelma P7. Paina Start. Odota ohjelman loppuun (n. 3 minuuttia). Kun ohjelma on ajettu, näytölle tulee taas P7. Laite on nyt käyttövalmis. 5. 36 35 SUOMI 6. PÄIVITTÄINEN KÄYTTÖ Tutustu turvallisuusohjelmiin. Kytke laite päälle ON/OFFpainikkeesta ja odota, kunnes näyttö osoittaa viimeksi käytetyn ohjelman (esim. P1). Avaa kansi ja aseta tankkiin tyhjiösuljettava pussi. Pussin suun on mentävä vähintään 2 cm saumaustangon yli (katso kuvaa). Kun tyhjiöpakattava tuote on pienikokoinen, aseta säiliön pohjalle laitteen mukana toimitettu täyttölevy. Näin suljettava pussi on oikeassa asennossa saumaussuuttimeen nähden. Sulje kansi ja valitse ohjelma painikkeilla ALAS ja YLÖS. Paina START Tyhjiötoiminnossa näyttö osoittaa prosessin edistymisen prosentteina, kunnes asetusarvo on saavutettu. Nyt näytölle tulee saumausaika, jonka jälkeen säiliön sisäinen paine palautuu normaaliksi. Kannen saa avata, kun näytöllä näkyy ohjelmanumero (esim. P1). Ohjelmien P1 P5 arvot voidaan asettaa asiakkaan vaatimusten mukaisesti. Oletuksena tyhjiö on asetettu arvoon 99.9 % ja laitteen mukana toimitettujen pussien suositeltu saumausaika on 2 sekuntia. Nämä säätöarvot soveltuvat laitteen normaaliin käyttöön. Alla olevasta taulukosta selviävät muut säätöarvot. SÄÄTÖARVOJEN MUUTTAMINEN Muutamien elintarvikkeiden suhteen suosittelemme vacuum % -arvojen muuttamista (katso tyhjiöprosentti-taulukko). Pussin saumausaikaa voi säätää (0 4 sekuntiin). Säätö on tarpeen, jos käyttää pusseja, joiden paksuus ei ole sama kuin laitteen mukana toimitettujen pussien. Säätöarvon voi muuttaa seuraavsti: Valitse painikkeilla ja ohjelma, jonka säätöarvoa haluat muuttaa (esim. P2). Paina ENTER-painiketta Näyttö osoittaa tyhjiöprosentin (99.9 %). Aseta haluttu arvo painikkeilla ja. Paina ENTER-painiketta Näyttö osoittaa saumausajan (2 sekuntia). Muuta arvoa painikkeilla ja Kun painat taas -painiketta, näytöllä näkyy ohjelma (esim. P2). Kun ohjelman numero näkyy, ohjelman asetetut arvot on tallennettu. 7. TYHJIÖKYPSENTÄMINEN Tällä toiminnolla tyhjiöpussiin säilötty elintarvike kypsennetään hitaasti joko höyryllä tai vedessä alhaisessa lämpö-tilassa. Tyhjiön arvoksi asetetaan 99,9 %, mikä soveltuu optimaalisesti tähän kypsennysmenetelmään. Menetelmällä on paljon etuja: Ruoan maku ja rakenne ovat paremmat. Maku ja aromit ovat parempia. Nestehukka on pienempi, joten ruoka on pehmeämpää ja mehukkaampaa. Ravintoaineet kuten hivenaineet ja vitamiinit säilyvät tyhjiöpussissa. Ruoanlaittoon ei tarvita rasvoja.
