FCL CRD CONTENT -EXAMINERS Two main changes to enhance supervision by NAAs: 1. Examiners may not assess applicants whose competent authority is not the same as the one that issued the examiner s certificate ; -without prior information to that competent authority and -until they have been adequately briefed on the relevant national procedures and regulations 2Examiners may onlyendorse the applicant s licenceor certificate with the new validity date when specifically authorisedto do so by the competent authority of the applicant 18
