Siinä yhdistyvät korkealaatuiset komponentit monivuotiseen kehitystyöhömme ja huolelliseen tuotantoomme. Häiriöttömän sointinautinnon varmistamiseksi tulee huomioida vain muutama asia. Ne on selostettu tässä käyttöohjeessa. 3 Finland Turvallisuusmääräykset Noudata seuraavia turvallisuusmääräyksiä valitessasi musicbox M -laitteesi oikean sijoituspaikan sekä sen hoidossa ja käytössä! 4 Finland Tärkeä turvallisuusvaroitus Viite Lue kaikki ohjeet ja noudata niitä. Säilytä nämä ohjeet huolella. Noudata kaikkia varoituksia ja turvallisuusmääräyksiä. Käytä tätä laitetta vain lauhkeassa ilmastossa (älä vie sitä trooppiseen ilmastoon). Käytä tätä laitetta vain sisätiloissa, älä vie sitä ulkotiloihin tai kosteisiin tiloihin. Tulipalon tai sähköiskun vaaran välttämiseksi laitetta ei saa altistaa sateelle eikä kosteudelle. Älä käytä tätä laitetta veden lähellä. Älä altista tätä laitetta tippuvalle tai roiskuvalle vedelle. Voimakkaat lämpötilan vaihtelut johtavat lauhdeveden (vesipisaroiden) syntymiseen laitteen sisällä. Odota, kunnes syntynyt kosteus on haihtunut (väh. kolme tuntia), ennen kuin otat laitteen käyttöön. Älä pane laitteen päälle mitään vedellä täytettyjä esineitä (esim. maljakoita). Älä aseta avotulta, kuten esim. palavia kynttilöitä, laitteen päälle tai sen lähelle. Älä sijoita laitetta lämmönlähteiden, esim. lämpöpattereiden, lämpövaraajien, uunien tai muiden lämpöä kehittävien laitteiden (ei myöskään vahvistimien) lähelle. Estä auringon välitön paistaminen laitteeseen. Säilytä vähintään 5 cm tyhjää tilaa laitteen kaikilla sivuilla. Sähköiskun välttämiseksi liitä verkkopistoke vain sellaisiin pistorasioihin tai jatkojohtoihin, joissa kontaktipiikit voidaan työntää kokonaan sisään, niin että vältetään paljaat kontaktipiikit. 4

5 Finland Viite Älä koske signaali- tai verkkojohtoon märin käsin. Älä astu verkkojohdon päälle äläkä pane sitä puristuksiin. Huolehdi tässä erityisesti pistokkeen, pistorasioiden ja sen kohdan läheisyydestä, jossa verkkojohto tulee laitteesta ulos. Verkkojohdon (tai jatkojohdon) pistokkeen tulee olla aina tavoitettavissa. Erota laite sähköverkosta ukonilman tai pitemmän käyttötauon ajaksi. Laitteen voit erottaa sähköverkosta täysin vetämällä verkkojohdon pistorasiasta. Sammuta laite aina ennen liitäntäjohdon liittämistä verkkoon tai irrottamista siitä. Vedä aina pistokkeesta, älä koskaan johdoista. Aseta laite paikalleen valmistajan ohjeiden mukaan. Valitse aina tasainen alusta. Laitteen tulee seistä pystysuorassa. Älä käsittele käyttölaitteita, liitäntöjä tai johtoja väkisin. Laitetta saa käyttää vain laitteessa tai tyyppikilvessä määritetyllä jännitteellä ja taajuudella. älä työnnä mitään esineitä tai ruumiinosia laitteen aukkoihin. Saattaisit koskettaa ja/tai vahingoittaa laitteen sisäisiä jännitteellisiä osia. Tästä voi aiheutua lyhytsulkuja, sähköiskuja tai tulipalo. Käytä vain valmistajan hyväksymiä ja/tai laitteen mukana toimitettuja kiinnitysmateriaaleja ja varusteita. Käytä vain vaunuja, telineitä, jalustoja, kannattimia tai pöytiä, jotka valmistaja on määrittänyt tai jotka on myyty laitteen mukana. Jos käytät pyörillä varustettua vaunua, liikuta vaunun ja laitteen yhdistelmää vain varovasti, jotta se ei kaadu aiheuttaen vaurioita ja vammoja. 5

6 Finland Viite Puhdista tämä laite ainoastaan kuivalla liinalla. Älä käytä puhdistuksessa syövyttäviä, alkoholipitoisia tai hankaavia aineita tai välineitä. Sähköiskun välttämiseksi älä avaa koteloa! Laitteen sisäpuolella ei ole mitään käyttäjän huollettavia osia. Anna kaikki korjaus- ja huoltotoimet pätevien ammattilaisten tehtäväksi. Tämä on tarpeen silloin, kun laite on vahingoittunut jollain tavoin, esim. jos verkkojohto tai pistoke on vahingoittunut, jos laitteeseen on päässyt nesteitä tai esineitä, jos se on altistettu sateelle tai kosteudelle, ei toimi kunnolla tai on päässyt putoamaan. Älä tee laitteeseen tai varusteisiin mitään muutoksia. Luvattomat muutokset saattavat vaikuttaa haitallisesti turvallisuuteen, lakien noudattamiseen tai järjestelmän suorituskykyyn. Tässä tapauksessa laitteen käyttölupa/takuu saattaa raueta. Jos toistossa ilmenee äänen vääristymistä, kuten esim. luonnotonta koputusta, naputusta tai suurtaajuusnaksahduksia, alenna äänen voimakkuutta heti. Älä kuuntele pitkään suurella äänenvoimakkuudella välttääksesi mahdolliset kuulovauriot. Pidä paristot poissa lasten ulottuvilta. Huolehdi ympäristönsuojelusta paristoja hävitettäessä. Käytetyt paristot tulee toimittaa paristojen kierrätyspisteeseen. Paristoja ei saa altistaa korkeille lämpötiloille, kuten esim. välittömälle auringonpaisteelle, tulelle tai vastaavalle. Paristot tulee asettaa paikalleen merkityn napaisuuskaavion mukaisesti. Virheellinen paikalleenpano voi aiheuttaa vaurioita. Käytä ainoastaan tälle laitteelle määrättyjä paristoja tai akkuja. Mukana toimitetut paristot eivät ole akkuja, ts. näitä paristoja ei saa ladata uudestaan. 6

7 Finland Viite Vaihdettavat litiumiparistot! Huomio: Asiantuntematon vaihto aiheuttaa räjähdysvaaran. Vaihda paristojen tilalle vain samantyyppiset tai vastaavat paristot. Laitteessa ja/tai sen oheisvarusteissa voi olla pieniä, nieltäviä osia. Siksi se ei sovellu alle 3-vuotiaille lapsille. HUOMIO Sähköiskun vaara. Ei saa avata! HUOMIO: Tulipalon tai sähköiskun välttämiseksi älä avaa laitetta. Laitteen sisäpuolella ei ole mitään käyttäjän huollettavia osia. Anna vain pätevien ammattihenkilöiden (huoltoteknikkojen) suorittaa huolto- ja korjaustyöt. Tämä merkki varoittaa kotelon sisäpuolella vallitsevista eristämättömistä jännitteistä, joiden vahvuus (amplitudi) riittää aiheuttamaan tulipalon tai sähköiskun. Tämä merkki viittaa mukana toimitetuissa asiakirjoissa (käyttöohjeissa) annettuihin tärkeisiin käyttö- ja kunnossapito-ohjeisiin. 7

8 Finland Paikan valinta Canton musicbox M tulisi asettaa esim. hyllyn tai kaapin päälle tai kuvaruudun alapuolelle tasaiselle pinnalle. Sisäänajo Totutteluvaihe, kunnes parhaat toisto-ominaisuudet ovat kehittyneet: käyttötuntia. Käytä tämän ajanjakson aikana normaalia Vältä erittäin korkeita äänen tasoja Kuuntele monenlaista musiikkia Kauko-ohjaimen käyttöönotto Aseta mukana toimitettu paristo kauko-ohjaimeen. Huolehdi siitä, että se asetetaan paikalleen napaisuusmerkkien (+/-) mukaisesti. Käytä ainoastaan tälle järjestelmälle määrättyä paristoa (CR 2032). 8

10 Finland Liitäntä Huolehdi siitä, että kaikki sähkökomponentit on kytketty pois päältä ennen liittämistä. musicbox M voidaan liittää useammalla tavalla riippuen käytettyjen lähteiden tyypistä ja varusteista. Tulo (analoogi) musicbox M on varustettu "LINE"-merkinnällä varustetulla tulolla, johon voidaan liittää analoogisilla Line-lähdöillä varustettu lähdelaite (esim. CD-soitin, pelikonsoli jne.). Viite Huolehdi liitäntää tehdessäsi, että vasen ja oikea kanava liitetään oikein ja käytä ainoastaan suojattuja cinch-johtoja ehkäistäksesi häirintä-äänien levittämisen. Digitaalilähdöllä varustetun laitteen liittämiseen käytetään optista digitaalijohtoa (Toslink). 12 Finland Näyttötekstit musicbox M on varustettu monitoiminäytöllä, joka palaa sinisenä n. 5 sekunnin ajan, kun kauko-ohjain lähettää jonkin käskyn. Tässä selostetaan mahdolliset näyttökuvat ja niiden merkitys. Säädä ehdottomasti subwooferisi siirtotaajuus (crossover) suurimpaan mahdolliseen arvoon. - Toimenna lähtö valitsemalla E.SUB ON - Kytke lähtö pois valitsemalla E.SUB OFF - Parametrin säätö tehdään navigointinäppäimillä 16 Ääänenvoimakkuuden mukaisen bassosäädön korjauksen kytkentä B.EXP - Subwooferin dynaaminen bassosäätö (bass expand) sovittaa matalien äänten voimakkuuden kuulofysiologisesti äänenvoimakkuuden mukaan - Kytke bassosäätö päälle valitsemalla B.EXP ON - Kytke bassosäätö pois valitsemalla B.EXP OFF Jos ulkoisen subwooferin lähtö on toimennettu, niin tämä toimento siirretään ulkoiseen subwooferiin

17 Finland Toistotavat Toistotoimintojen käyttömahdollisuudet - musicbox M on varustettu kolmella eri toistotavalla, jolla voit sovittaa tilatoiston oman makusi mukaiseksi - Stereo - vasempaan ja oikeaan kanavaan syötetyn signaalin alkuperäistoisto (käyttö stereolaitteistona) - WIDE - syötetyn signaalin toisto stereopohjaa virtuaalisesti laajentaen (huoneen täyttävä stereosointi) - SURRound - syötetyn signaalin toisto virtuaalisen kaikutilan kera (käyttö koti-elokuvateatterina) - Kun painat "Playmode"-näppäintä, niin valitaan aina seuraava käyttötapa 17

18 Finland Vianhaku Seuraavassa lyhyessä yhteenvedossa esitetään useimmiten esiintyvät ongelmat. Ongelma Mahdollinen syy Poisto musicbox M ei kytkeydy päälle. 1. Verkkojohtoa ei ole liitetty pistorasiaan ja /tai musicboc M:ään. Liitä verkkojohto oikein. 2. Verkkokatkaisin ei kytketty päälle. Käännä katkaisin asentoon ON. Äänentoisto liian hiljainen. 1. musicbox M:n äänenvoimakkuus säädetty liian alhaiseksi. Lisää äänenvoimakkuutta Volume -näppäimellä. musicbox M ei reagoi kauko-ohjaimeen. 1. Paristo on tyhjentynyt. 1. Vaihda paristo uuteen, huolehdi oikeanapaisesta paikalleenpanosta. Ei äänentoistoa. 2. etäisyys musicbox M:ään on liian suuri tai kulma on liian suuri. 1. Lähdelaitteen äänenformaatti valittu väärin (digitaalitulo "Digital"). 2. Vähennä etäisyyttä laitteeseen tai pienennä kulmaa. 1. tarkasta lähdelaitteesi oikea säätö (katso sivu 10) "DTS "- tai "Dolby Digital "-koodattuja toistoformaatteja ei voida toistaa. 2. Lähdelaite ei anna signaalia. 2. Lähdelaitteen digitaalilähtöä ei ole kytketty päälle (ole hyvä ja tutki laitteen käyttöohjetta). 3. johtoa ei ole liitetty oikein / johto viallinen. 3. tarkasta lähdelaitteen yhteys musicbox M:ään ja vaihda tarvittaessa johto uuteen. 4. Depending on type and equipment of the sources used, there are different options of connecting the musicbox M. Input (analogue) The input marked LINE at the musicbox M can be used to connect a source device with analogue line outputs (e.g. CD player, gaming console, etc.). Note When performing the connection, observe correct connection between the left and right channel and use only shielded cinch cables to prevent transfer of interferences. To connect a device with digital output, use an optical digital cable (Toslink). Input (digital input) The digital input marked PCM Audio, Digital Input at the musicbox M can be used to connect any source device with optical digital output (e. g. TV, Sat receiver, BD player, etc.). Assign the optical digital output of your supplying device for this. aerial output / cord antenna analog Output digital Output ATTENTION: Observe correct setting of the connected device. The musicbox M can only play back sound when you have selected PCM-Stereo or PCMDownmix in the sound menu of your supply device. 41 English Problem Possible cause Solution musicbox M hums. 1. Signal lines from the source device to the musicbox M is too long. 2. Signal line used is not shielded or shield is interrupted at the line used (defective). Use shorter signal lines. Replace line with shielded line. 3. Earthing loop (ground loop) generated. An earthing loop may result when at least two devices connected with signal lines (cinch) with protective contact plug (e. g. amplifier and computer) are connected to locally separated sockets. Connect all devices connected to the musicbox M with protective contact plug to the socket strip (multiple outlet). 4. A consumer without interference suppression (e.g. fridge) at the mains. Switch off possible interference sources for testing; have interference suppression applied to the respective device if the hum vanishes or connect the inference source to another mains phase first (L1, L2 or L3) (bring in a specialist if required). Switch a special jacket current filter (available in specialist trade) between source device and musicbox M to eliminate the hum. Turn the mains plug to reduce the so-called ripple voltage (particularly important if the source device is not earthed). 41
