ITS Factory Day 30.05.2012 1TAMPERE TAMPEREEN KAUPUNKI LEHDISTÖTIEDOTE KAUPUNKIYMPÄRISTÖN KEHITTÄMINEN Frenckellinaukio 2 B, PL 487, 33101 Tampere 25.5.2012 Älyä Tampereen seudun liikenteeseen: uusi toimintaympäristö älyliikennepalvelujen kehittäjille Tampereen kaupunki ja Liikenne- ja viestintäministeriö yhteistyössä muiden alan toimijoiden kanssa vauhdittavat älyliikenteen kehitystä perustamalla uuden avoimeen dataan perustuvan innovaatio-, kokeilu- ja kehitysympäristön. Ympäristössä yritykset voivat kehittää ja testata älyliikenteeseen liittyviä palvelujaan ja niiden yhteensopivuutta, mikä aktivoi uusien palvelujen syntymistä ja yhtenäistää alan käytäntöjä. ITS Factory esitellään 30. toukokuuta järjestettävässä älyliikenteen seminaarissa Tampereella. ITS Factory tehostaa merkittävästi älyliikenteen toimijoiden yhteistyötä ja luo suomalaiselle teollisuudelle uusia vientimahdollisuuksia, sanoo liikenneneuvos Seppo Öörni Liikenne- ja viestintäministeriöstä. Tampere on aktiivisesti mukana luomassa liikenteeseen liittyviä palveluja asukkaidensa tarpeisiin. The Business Case Drivers spend only in the USA over 4.6 Billion hours each year stuck in traffic. People in western countries spend about two years in traffic during their lifetime California has spent 2.5 Billion USD for traffic sensor installations. Traffic management systems cost over 20% from the whole road budget in EU. Number of cars in Beijing will reach 7 million milestone in 2015. Theoretical capacity of road infrastructure is 6.5 million. Beijing will invest 700 m for smart traffic solutions in next 5 Year Plan Environmental requirements and wellbeing will set new requirements to traffic new business opportunities new for smart traffic services. 10.4.2013 12
