Aims of the learning environment To present basic concepts of (urban) geography, phenomena and processes relating to a city and to strengthen the understanding of hybrid nature of urban environment. To present basics of research methods (and to enhance GI and web learning skills). To increase the contextuality of learning: inspire students to make field trips. To strengthen students place identity and to make them to pay attention to their surrounding environment in a city. Aim of the development project To produce multifunctional tools for shorter learning periods (15 minutes and up) as well as for whole courses.
Learning process 1. Formation of small groups 2. Anchoring teaching and setting the problem 3. Study plans, critical evaluation 4. Fieldworks, gathering new information 5. Preparation of outputs Web Field Classroom 6.
