Today I was able to see for myself how the Internet of things or Industry 4.0 gradually finds a way into a company like Festo. I was able to watch the valve production here and see both its level of automation and the degree of variety in production. I therefore got an in-depth impression of what possibilities the Internet of things opens up. It is not only companies like Festo that are facing a major change.
