3 1. Finnish Officer s swords 1922 model. Very fine Officer s swords with old knot. Made by AC in Germany (Known maker for 3rd reich side arms. Early piece from 1930 s. Not sharpened nor any rust on blade, some nicks to the cutting edge. The black paint on scabbard is worn from upper part, otherwise scabbard is very fine with two small hits on lower edge. Hilt is nice early design, grip totally problem free without chips or cracks. VIII ), Zlatoust 1897 and floral pattern, hilt is in a very good condition with slight greening on the side, scabbard is worn and has been repainted. On August 18, 1897 first Official Russian Athletics competition took place in St. Petersburg Russia, Caucasian shashka, early 20th Century, approx. 110 cm long, blade (maker s marks ( M.N. and some animal) on both sides) was sharpened and has numerous signs of rust, the hilt is made of silver ( 84 hallmark) and is in a very good condition, scabbard has a few silver plates (the bottom one is missing), one marked with owner s initials ( Yu.P. ), black leather is worn on the back side of the scabbard Russia, Dragoon shashka (aka Dragoonka ) for enlisted, model 1881, 100 cm long, blade (hallmarked by crowned A, 1916 and Zlatoust with Imperial eagle) has been slightly sharpened and is in a very good condition with light signs of rust, hilt (marked 1914, Zlat. At June 11th, 1944 Lieutenant Grundström was flying mission to bomb attacking Soviet forces in Carelian Istmus in poor weather, claudbase 300m and visibility was poor. His plane Dornier DO 17 Z (DN-61) from Bomber Squadron 46 got several hits and fuel tanks caught fire. Two out of four crew members died in crash including Lieutenant Grundström.
