Tausta The Mayor's Climate Change Action Plan: Reduction of London's carbon dioxide emissions by 60% of 1990 levels by year 2025 33 London Boroughs Pormestari (Mayor) yhdistävänä tekijänä GLA, LDA, TfL, LFES, MP, ODA: 13 mrd/a Greenfield Consulting toimeksianto LDAlta, Decarbonising Thames Gateway
Planning decisions + = Primary consideration for all planning applications London Plan Unitary Development Plan / Local Development Framework The Mayor will and boroughs should in their DPDs require developments to make the fullest contribution to the mitigation of and adaptation to climate change and to minimise emissions of carbon dioxide The Mayor's Climate Change Action Plan: reduction of London's carbon dioxide emissions by 60% of 1990 levels by year 2025

Hallituksen tavoitteet All new homes to be zero carbon by 2016 Improvements to energy requirements in Building Regulations, in 2010, 2013 with a final leap to zero carbon in 2016 Government recognised that industry needed clarity on the future direction of Building Regulations, and needed to gear up in advance of 2016. As a result, it issued the Code for Sustainable Homes in April 2007 Stamp duty land tax relief for zero carbon homes constructed up to 2012 zero carbon to exclude the use of off-site renewables that weren t connected to the development by a private wire
