Our metal and surface treatment skills combined with the intuition and commitment of Finnish top designers stand as a guarantee and requirement for the existence of our collection. Our versatile expertise is our strength. In addition to the production as well as sales and marketing of our design furniture collection, we deliver furniture components to internationally significant furniture manufacturers. There are many reasons for our success, but especially the management of our supply chain stands above all. It is our long experience in materials, product development and production that makes our customers trust in what we do and therefore enables us to offer competitive solutions. Designkalustemallistomme juuret juontavat kauas yrityksemme alkuaikoihin. Julkisiin tiloihin suunnitellun mallistomme olemassaolon perustana ovat vuosikymmenten aikana hankkimamme metalli- ja pintakäsittelytaidot, jotka yhdistyvät lahjakkaiden muotoilijoiden intuitioon ja tinkimättömyyteen. Even though each collection has its unique features, our products are easy to combine with each other in order to build harmonious entities. Due to product varieties and different available materials, our timeless furniture grows according to the space and user's needs. High quality is a main feature in our furniture. It is made out of high quality materials. In addition we accurately control our production process. The final quality of our furniture is nevertheless the result of our skilled and ambitious people. Our family owned company looks optimistically into the future and therefore we take care of the environment. We believe that a product with a good design and made of high quality is environmentally friendly. When making the surface treatment for our frames we follow specific environmental regulations. The water used in our production process is cleaned in our own waste water treatment system so that a part of the water can be reused. We constantly invest in reducing environmental impacts on our production process. Kalustemallistollemme ovat tunnusomaista selkeä muotokieli ja viimeistellyt yksityiskohdat. Thanks to our customers all around the world, we constantly receive up to date information about changing user needs, this being one of our strengths. 13 OPTION CONFERENCE design Antti Kotilainen The ergonomic fully upholstered OPTION conference chair has a streamlined stylish shape that consists of parts that give rhythm to the height of the backrest. The chair is available in three different heights as well as with three different frame structures. The hard polyurethane armrests provide a sculptural suppleness giving a contrast to the strict businesslike appearance of the chair. This gives the chair an especially valuable look and also gives the possibility to match the chair with similar materials in the surrounding interior. The OPTION X chairs have a return mechanism enabling them to stay in the same position even after getting up from the chairs. The OPTION tables are available in different sizes of round and rectangular shapes. Different multimedia units are also offered for the tables. 19 OPTION LOUNGE design Antti Kotilainen The streamlined OPTION Lounge chair has a retro like appearance. Especially the details in the flattened chrome armrests give it a unique look. The edges of the seat can be upholstered with a different upholstery than the front and back of the chair. The sofa is available with or without armrests. The sofa has been designed in a way so that vacuum cleaning under the bench is convenient. Check availability! The thin plywood sheets and the special steel frame allow a physically and visually light and ecological, yet durable construction. These are the result of a long product development process. These genuine veneer chairs have an easy to maintain melamine surface. In addition to the different available plywood options, it is also available in easy-to-maintain melamine. In larger projects, a simplified version of the frame (AND PT) is also offered. By embedding the Marimekko fabric on one or both sides of the seat, it is possible to create strong and personal interiors. With the fabric embedded into the chair, it looks as if it were upholstered. Thanks to the fabric being embedded under the transparent melamine, it is easy to maintain. The AND Conference chair is available with or without polyurethane armrests. The seat is always fully upholstered with an additional upholstered seat cushion, adding extra comfort to the chair. 45 DALE design Antti Kotilainen The DALE collection was originally designed as a conference chair and is especially suitable for long term sitting. The DALE chair is slender and dignified with generous surfaces and curved lines that ensure comfort. Precise details such as the backrest, the oval-shaped tube in the frame, the armrests made of polyurethane give the chair a finished and elegant look. The seat and back rest are also available in special plywood options such as ash, giving the chair a valuable look. Regardless of the lightness of the dimensions, the table top remains firm even in larger sizes. The oval-shaped tube in the frames of the chairs and table is a discreet, high-quality detail. 53 FRAME design Antti Kotilainen The FRAME sofa system is framed by its metal support structure which gives the furniture piece a clean and streamlined appearance. FRAME can be used either as a single leaning chair or as a sofa system of infinite length. It is also possible to lengthen or shorten the sofa after hand, offering flexibility of the furniture piece. Elegantti ja selkälinjainen FRAME on nimensä mukaisesti rungon kehystämä sohvajärjestelmä. Modulaarisen rakenteensa ansiosta FRAME on yksittäinen nojatuoli tai rajattomasti laajennettava sohva. 54 XO TABLE design Antti Kotilainen The light XO sofa table is available in two different sizes and is especially designed for the FRAME sofa collection. The table top is made of massive laminate, giving it a solid black edge. The construction of the table is logistically effective, comprising of three components that can be assembled by hand. The sofa and bench modules are designed for one person, two persons and three persons. The relatively anonymous modules are designed in a way so that all the pieces can be combined together in order to build diverse sofa groups to fit different spaces and user needs. Puhdaslinjainen ja arkkitehtoninen GRAND CANYON sohvajärjestelmä sisältää yhteensä 16 erilaista sohva- ja penkkimoduulia sekä pöydän. Suhteellisen anonyymit moduulit voidaan yhdistää toisiinsa monin eri tavoin. The transparent glass fibre in the chair is very durable which can be recycled. The FLAKES chair is ideal for outdoor use, whereby the frame is treated with a special powder coat. Due to the layered fibre glass structure, also decorative elements can be embedded into the chair. This makes them versatile and adaptable for many environments. You can design your own FLAKES chair and table at Kehittämämme teknologian ansiosta FLAKES kalusteiden ulkoasu voidaan kustomoida asiakkaan haluamalla grafiikalla. The collection is used in spaces, where elegant style and excellence is pursued. The challenging design of the furniture requires accurate and thorough craftsmanship of the metal frame and leather upholstery which makes every piece of furniture a unique piece of art. Thanks to the flexible seat and metal frame, sitting in these classics becomes a pleasure. The large wooden surfaces give rhythm to the chair by building a shape that is very natural. The durable shape of the chair is appealing to look at from every angle. The DOME chair is available in two different sizes as well as a bar chair. The DOME chair is offered in different plywood options, which especially accentuate the shape of the backrest and make the chairs look valuable. The tapered legs of the chair give it a light look. Polyurethane is a very durable material and also easy to maintain. All the parts of the chair are recyclable this is a good example of new, environmentalfriendly design. One can glance through the hole in the backrest, making a space look lighter especially when a larger quantity of chairs is placed in a space. The chair is available in a two coloured version, where a different stain colour is used in the front and in the back of the chair. Thanks to the timeless and versatile design, the collection has become a classic that suits many environments. The Arena 011 collection comprises a series of chairs, bar stools, stools, benches and tables that suit different spaces and user needs. The chair 011B is available with grip handles on the sides which makes it easy to get up from the chair. His products, manufactured over the decades, express reliability, individuality and independence. His participation in everyday social life with open eyes and mind produced not only the classics but also various articles, lectures and exhibition designs. PIIROINEN has the honor to have his Triennale chair in its collection, designed originally for the Milan Triennale in Design is a language of cultural policy that has reached a material form. Professori Antti Nurmesniemi oli yksi suomalaisen muotoilun uranuurtajista, jonka vuosikymmenten aikana syntyneissä tuotteissa näkyy omintakeisuus, itsenäisyys ja luotettavuus.
