Aalto Sustainability Hub Kokoaa Aallon kestävän kehityksen toiminnan Tutkimus ja opetus Kampus kokeilualustana Yliopiston oma kestävä kehitys Aalto Global impact Cocreation Circular economy Campus as living lab Circular economy o We see the world as interconnected systems, where human societies and nature are inextricably interlinked Co-creation o We engage in interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research, we work cross disciplinary boundaries and beyond the academia, with partners from different sectors of society Campus as living lab o We experiment our sustainability research with our immediate surroundings, Aalto University campus
Goal Aalto research on sustainability and circular economy will promote world-class research environment with a focused approach to sustainability. Aalto as a globally leading sustainable university in all of its operations. Aalto will tackle the multifaceted and coupled scientific, technological, economic, societal, and environmental issues in developing the global and local society toward a sustainable state. Aalto will do multi-disciplinary circular economy research combining research and innovation of bio- and substitute materials, materials and energy efficiency with consumer needs and sustainable business models from the viewpoint of advancing systemic sustainability. Bring new understanding of the systemic solutions needed for a sustainable future.

Työryhmän jatko ja kokoonpano
Vastuullisuus ja kestävän kehityksen organisointi Aalto-yliopiston strategiassa kestävä kehityksen tuki ja kehitystyö on keskeinen alue. Tavoitteena on tuoda kestävä kehitys -näkökulma yliopiston toimintaan tutkimuksessa ja opetuksessa sekä kampuskehitystyössä, kuten tilat, laitteet, materiaalit ja palvelut. Työryhmä koordinoi ja kehittää kestävän kehityksen toimintaa Aalto-yliopistossa. Työryhmä raportoi Tutkimus- ja innovaatiot työryhmälle. Työryhmä voi kutsua lisäksi asiantuntijoita tarpeen mukaan.
