Konecranes aikoo tehdä laitteiden etähuollosta liiketoimintansa ytimen. Toimitusjohtajan visiossa suomalainen teollisuus kulkee kumouksen kärjessä. Astun sisään nostolaitteita valmistavan Konecranesin etähuoltovalvomoon Hyvinkäällä. Askeettisessa huoneessa seinälle kiinnitetyt monitorit välittävät informaatiota, ja muutama keskittyneen näköinen huoltoasiantuntija ahertaa työpöydille asetettujen näyttöjen edessä. Olen nyt uuden teollisen vallankumouksen ytimessä. Suomalaisten hyvinvointi ja tulevaisuus voivat riippua paljonkin siitä, miten tässä kumouksessa onnistutaan. Hyvinkään etähuoltoon on nyt kytketty 4 417 laitetta eri puolilla maailmaa. Joka kuukausi järjestelmään liittyy toistasataa uutta laitetta. Laitteista välittyy koko ajan Hyvinkään valvomoon tietoa vaikkapa siitä, kuumeneeko moottori ja miten kovassa käytössä nosturi on. 1 / 3 29.10.2013 13.18
