TES Energy Facade: SmartTES - project TES Energy Façade offers a systemised, timber based element solution for the renovation of building facades. It is an energy-smart approach for the renewal of building envelopes on existing buildings offering new opportunities for wood in refurbishment including new business opportunities. Oulu INDUSTRIALISED ENERGY EFFICIENT RETROFITTING OF RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS IN COLD CLIMATES E2ReBuild is a collaboration project co-financed by EU FP7, theme EeB-ENERGY.2010.8.1-2; Demonstration of Energy Efficiency through Retrofitting of Buildings Thamesmead Halmstad Participants: 20 partners from Finland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. WOOD IN CARBON EFFICIENT CONSTRUCTION The CO2 project is focusing at carbon efficient construction. The main objectives of this project are: To create holistic understanding of carbon efficiency in the full life-cycle of a building, to define technical potential and obstacles for the use of wood in carbon efficient construction, to develop practical solutions for calculating and optimising the carbon footprint of different wood construction systems and to disseminate scientific results efficiently to relevant stakeholders, including e.g. authorities, regulation developers and construction industry.
