Erasmus+ 2014-2020 Ohjelman valmistelu: EU-jäsenmaat, Euroopan komissio ja Euroopan Parlamentti ovat päässeet sopuun EU:n uuden koulutus-, nuoriso- ja urheiluohjelman sisällöistä kesällä 2013 Uudelle ohjelmakaudelle ehdotetaan huomattavaa lisäystä ohjelmien budjettiin nykyiseen ohjelmakauteen (2007-2013) verrattuna Ohjelmapäätös odotettavissa syksyn aikana (HUOM. Basic elements (1) Based on the EMMC experience Implemented by consortia of EU and (where relevant) non-eu HEIs Full scholarships awarded to the best master students worldwide (priority to non-eu students) Scholarships for invited scholars (/guest lecturers) contributing to the JMD teaching/training/research with an increased budget for the 7-year period, 1161 M proposed by the Commission in the draft regulation More than 30.000 scholarship holders and More than 350 JMDs expected by the end of the programme Education and Culture
Basic elements (2) an increased focus on the socio economic environment (reinforced participation of enterprises / public authorities) the employability of graduates (internship/placements) and a reinforced selection procedure Joint degrees will continue to be encouraged but not mandatory (double and multiple degrees still eligible) Education and Culture
Will continue to be offered in priority to non-eu students (min 70%) Education and Culture JMD student scholarships Have to remain attractive as compared to other scholarship schemes simple to sell / advertise (by the EC, the NAs, the consortia) and to understand (particularly by non-eu students) simple to use (by students and JMD consortia) Will be composed of A travel and installation allowance (variable in accordance with the student country/region of origin, like under credit mobility action) A fixed monthly subsistence allowance for all scholarship holders A maximum contribution to the participation costs (/tuition fees) (lump sum and unit cost amounts are under preparation)
JMD funding and contractual arrangements (1) New JMDs will be offered ONE grant agreement covering A preparatory year necessary for finalizing the JMD management aspects (consortium agreement, degree recognition, website, etc.) and launching the first student enrolment procedure and call for scholarship applicants Three consecutive intakes (/editions) of the JMD with their respective scholarships The grant will cover the consortium fees (/lump sum) for the preparatory year and the three consecutive intakes (/editions); the consortium fees will include funding for invited scholars a global number of student scholarships to be used for the three intakes Education and Culture
Education and Culture JMD funding and contractual arrangements (2) On the 3 rd year of the Grant Agreement JMDs will be offered the possibility to apply for their inclusion in the E4A JMD Catalogue Inclusion in the E+ JMD Catalogue will be conditioned by a Quality Review performed by independent experts who will look at the JMD performance in terms of attractiveness, relevance, "jointness" and sustainability prospects

JDAZ Joint Degrees from A to Z 2012-2014 The objective of JDAZ is to produce a comprehensive, practical reference guide on joint degrees/joint degree programmes based on all relevant major work done in this field. Nordic Master Programme Consortia: Collaborating institutions apply as a consortium Each consortium must consist of minimum 3 HEIs from 3 different Nordic countries (incl. the autonomous areas, but not the Baltic countries) One partner acts as coordinator with the overall responsibility of the project (e.g. payments, reporting, etc.) 25
Nordic Master Programme Programme requirements: Programmes must encompass 120 ECTS, i.e. be 2-year courses of study Each of the participating HEIs must contribute a a minimum of 20 ECTS Programmes must be taught in English (with possible exceptions) Joint study programmes with graduates receiving one joint or two/multiple national diplomas, depending on national legislation 26
