Unpack the utility e.g. c:\temp. 3. Open Command Prompt or PowerShell as Administrator. 4. Type cd c:\temp

Windows Licence is expired. If the grace time is expired, the message Windows Licence is expired appears on the right bottom of the screen. 18. Avaa PowerShell. Open PowerShell. 19. Configuring the Server 2012 virtual machine: Installing the SQL Server Server 2012 -virtuaalikoneen konfigurointi: SQL Serverin asennus 1. Odota, kunnes Server Manager aukeaa. If not open wait until Server Manager opens. 5. Valitse Server Managerissa Local Server. In Server Manager select Local Server.

6. Hae rivi IE Enhanced Security Configuration ja käännä se pois päältä klikkaamalla rivin lopussa olevaa linkkiä On ja valitsemalla kummassakin kentässä arvot Off. Klikkaa lopuksi OK. Locate item IE Enhanced Security Configuration, and turn it Off. Click OK. 7. Verkko-osoitteen tarkistaminen: Avaa PowerShell. Anna komento ipconfig Network Settings: Open PowerShell. Type ipconfig. 8. Ota ylös IPv4-osoite (tässä 192.168.1.17). Sitä käytetään myöhemmin. Huom! Osoite riippuu käytettävissä olevasta järjestelmästä! Sulje PowerShell-ikkuna. Before starting the SQL Server installation the network settings must be checked to ensure full network connectivity. Hover and select Windows Search tool. 10. Jos Internet Explorer -kuvake ei ole näkyvissä, kirjoita hakuruutuun Internet. If the Internet Explorer icon is not visible, type Internet in the search field. 11. 12. Klikkaa Internet Explorer -kuvaketta. Internet Explorer avautuu. Click the Internet Explorer Icon. Internet Explorer opens. 13. Valitse tarvittaessa Use recommended security and compatibility settings ja klikkaa OK. If asked, select the Use recommended security and compatibility settings and click OK. 14. Kirjoita osoitekenttään http://www.metropolia.fi. Type in the address field e.g. http://www.metropolia.fi. 15. Jos sivu aukeaa oikein, verkkoasetukset ovat kunnossa ja siirry kohtaan 20. Muussa tapauksessa asetukset on korjattava. Tavallisesti riittää, kun nimipalvelimeen asetetaan DNS osoitteet alla olevan mukaisesti. In the picture the first address is the address of the ADSL modem and the following addresses are Internet provider s DNS addresses (Elisa) used in the test system. The values depend on the service provider and network used. Type in the host in command prompt ipconfig /all to see your current DNS IP addresses (in the field DNS Servers). The DNS addresses of Metropolia Bulelab are 10.95.254.252 and 10.95.252.253. Click Edit, remove the old addresses and add the current DNS IP addresses one at a time. 19. Klikkaa OK ja sulje DNS Manager. Click OK and close DNS Manager. 20. Avaa File Explorer. Open File Explorer. 21. Luo kansio C:\Temp. Create folder C:\Temp. 22. Avaa DVD Drive (D:). 42. Klikkaa Close, kun asennus on valmis. When the installation is ready, click Close. 43. Sulje Installation Center. Close the Installation Center. 44. 49. Avaa Security-välilehti ja laajenna Logins. Kaksoisklikkaa SP\Administrator. Open the Security tab and expand Logins. Double-click on SP\Administrator. 50. Klikkaa Server Roles ja rastita ruutu dbcreator ja klikkaa OK. Click Server Roles and tick the dbcreator box and click OK.

51. Sulje SQL Server Management Studio. Close the SQL Server Management Studio. 52. Sulje virtuaalikone valitsemalla Hyper-V-konsolissa Shut Down. In Hyper-V Manager select Shut Down the virtual machine. 53. Accept the warning. Hyväksy varoitus klikkaamalla Shut Down. 54. Valitse Hyper-V Managerissa SharePoint2013-virtuaalikone ja sitten Settings. In Hyper-V Manager select virtual machine SharePoint2013S and click Settings.

55. Valitse IDE Controller 1: DVD Drive. Valitse None. Klikkaa OK. In Settings select IDE Controller 1: DVD Drive. Select None. Click OK. 56. Valitse SharePoint2013-virtuaalikone ja sitten Checkpoint. Select virtual machine SharePoint2013 and click Checkpoint. 57. Valitse luomasi checkpoint hiiren oikealla näppäimellä ja anna sille nimeksi Starting Image. Select the checkpoint with right mouse button and rename it as Starting Image.

Browse to C:\Sharepoint2013\Server 2012 Trial, where the Server 2012 Trial operating system was downloaded in the previous exercise. If it is packed, unpack it by double-clicking the first (.exe) part. Note! In order to succeed, notice the following: When creating an external virtual switch, assure that no external switch already exists. If an external switch is already created, use it. If a machine with same name already exists when creating a virtual machine, select another name. Remember the name you selected during the next exercises. If the name is already in use, select another name, e.g. SharePoint2013_YourName. Remember the new name later during the exercise. Huom! Jos nimi on jo käytössä, valitse jokin toinen, esim. SharePoint2013_OmaNimesi. Muista uusi nimi harjoituksen myöhemmissä vaiheissa (käytä sitä Hyper-V-konsolissa nimen SharePoint2013 asemasta). 3. Select Generation 1 and click Next. Valitse Generation 1 ja klikkaa Next. 4. Define startup memory and click Next. Määrittele RAM-muistin määrä ja klikkaa Next. Muistin määrä riippuu käytettävästä koneesta. Sen pitää olla niin suuri kuin mahdollista! Jos äitikoneessa on 16 GB ram-muistia, sopiva arvo voi olla n. 10000. Voit rastittaa halutessasi ruudun Use Dynamic Memory.

5. Select network connection SharePoint2013 and click Next (or the already existing external network connection). Valitse verkkoliitäntä SharePoint2013 (tai jo aikaisemmin tehty external-verkkoliitäntä) ja klikkaa Next. 6. Accept the creation of a virtual hard disk with defaults by clicking Next. Hyväksy virtuaalisen kiintolevyn luonti oletusasetuksin klikkaamalla Next. 7. In Installation Options select Install an operating system from a bootable CD/DVD-ROM and tick radio button Image file (.iso). Browse to C:\Sharepoint2013\Server 2012 Trial, where the Server 2012 Trial operating system was downloaded in the previous exercise. Select the operating system installation image and click Open. Then click Next. Valitse Install an operating system from a bootable CD/DVD-ROM ja radionappi Image file (.iso). Selaa kansioon C:\Sharepoint2013\Server 2012 Trial, johon latasit edellisessä harjoituksessa Server 2012 Trial -käyttöjärjestelmän. Valitse asennustiedosto ja klikkaa Open. Klikkaa sitten Next.

8. View the summary window and click Finish. Kun yhteenvetoikkuna avautuu, klikkaa Finish. 9. The new virtual machine appears on the list. Uusi virtuaalikone tulee näkyviin. 10. Select the SharePoint2013 virtual machine and click Settings. Valitse SharePoint2013 ja klikkaa Settings. 11. Define a 4 processor CPUs and click OK (If 4 is not available, select the largest number!). 20. Click Install now. Klikkaa Install now. 21. Select Windows Server 2012 Standard Evaluation (Server with a GUI) and click Next. Valitse Windows Server 2012 Standard Evaluation (Server with a GUI) ja klikkaa Next. 22. Accept license terms and click Next. Hyväksy lisenssiehdot ja klikkaa Next.

23. Select Custom: Install Windows only (advanced). Valitse Custom: Install Windows only (advanced). 24. Click Next. Klikkaa Next. 25. The setup starts. Asennus käynnistyy.

26. When the setup is ready and the machine restarts, give the administrators password Pa$$w0rd (where 0 is zero) in both fields and click Finish. Kun asennus on valmis ja kone käynnistyy uudelleen, syötä kumpaankin kenttään administraattorin salasana Pa$$w0rd, jossa 0 on nolla, ja klikkaa Finish. Suomalaisessa näppäimistössä $-merkki saadaan painamalla Alt Gr -näppäintä ja 4-näppäintä samanaikaisesti (Alt Gr + 4) 27. Give command Action Ctrl+Alt+Delete and log in as Administrator (password Pa$$w0rd). Note! Don t use the Ctrl+Alt+Del combination. It accesses the host computer, not the virtual machine. 29. Open Tools Computer Management. Avaa Tools Computer Management. 30. Expand Local Users and Groups Users. Laajenna Local Users and Groups Users. 31. Right-click on Administrator and select Properties. Klikkaa hiiren oikealla Administrator ja valitse Properties. 32. Tick the box Password never expires and click OK. Rastita ruutu Password never expires ja klikkaa OK. 33. Close Computer Management console. Sulje Computer Management.

34. In Server Manager select Local Server. Valitse Server Managerissa Local Server. 35. Click Computer name. Klikkaa kenttää Computer name. 36. Select Change Klikkaa Change 37. Type computer name SHAREPOINT2013 and click OK. Syötä nimi SHAREPOINT2013 ja klikkaa OK.

38. Accept the restart message. Hyväksy uudelleenkäynnistysilmoitus klikkaamalla OK. 39. Close the System Properties window. Sulje System Properties -ikkuna. 40. Restart the operating system. Käynnistä käyttöjärjestelmä uudelleen klikkaamalla Restart Now. 41. Press Action Ctrl+Alt+Delete and log in as Administrator (password Pa$$w0rd). Note! 46. Server 2012 virtual machine is now installed. Continue to the Active Directory installation. Server 2012 -virtuaalikone on nyt asennettu. Jatka seuraavaan kohtaan, Aktiivihakemiston asennukseen.

Configuring the Server 2012 virtual machine: Installing AD Server 2012 -virtuaalikoneen konfigurointi: Aktiivihakemiston asennus 1. If not open, open Hyper-V Manager. 8. Click Add Features. Klikkaa Add Features. 9. Click Next. Klikkaa Next. 10. Click Next. Klikkaa Next.

11. Click Install. Klikkaa Install. 12. Click Close. Klikkaa Close. 13. When the installation is finished, the Server Manager shows a yellow exclamation mark (Notifications). Click on it. Asennuksen valmistuttua Server Manager -ikkunassa on keltainen huomiomerkki (Notifications).

Klikkaa sitä. 14. Click Promote this server to a domain controller. Klikkaa Promote this server to a domain controller. 15. Select Add a new forest and give the domain name SP.local. Click Next. Valitaan uuden metsän luonti (Add a new forest) ja annetaan toimialueelle nimeksi SP.local. Sitten painetaan Next. 16. Select the Windows Server 2012 functional level. Toimintatasoksi valitaan Windows Server 2012 ja hyväksytään oletusominaisuudet. Palautussalasanaksi annetaan Pa$$w0rd. Lopuksi painetaan Next.

17. Accept the DNS warning by clicking Next. Hyväksytään DNS-delegointivaroitus painamalla Next. 18. Accept the NetBIOS name by clicking Next. Hyväksytään NetBIOS-nimi SP painamalla Next. 19. Accept default paths. Hyväksytään oletuspolut painamalla Next.

20. Click Next. Klikkaa Next. 21. Click Install. Klikkaa Install. 22. The computer reboots. Press Action->Control+Alt+Delete and log in as SP\Administrator (password Pa$$w0rd). Kone käynnistyy Aktiivihakemiston konfiguroinnin jälkeen. Paina Action->Control+Alt+Delete ja kirjaudu sisään domain-tunnuksella SP\Administrator (salasana Pa$$w0rd). 23. The AD is installed. Aktiivihakemiston asennus on valmis. 24. Wait until the Server Manager opens. Then in Hyper-V Manager select Shut Down the virtual machine to save the settings.

Configuring the Server 2012 virtual machine: Installing the SQL Server Server 2012 -virtuaalikoneen konfigurointi: SQL Serverin asennus 1. Avaa tarvittaessa Hyper-V Manager. If not already open, open Hyper-V Manager. 2. Valitse virtuaalikone SharePoint2013 ja Settings. Valitse IDE Controller 1: DVD Drive. Valitse Image file, selaa kansioon C:\SharePoint2013\SQL Server 2012 SP1 ja valitse SQL Server 2012 SP1 -image. Klikkaa Open. Klikkaa OK. Select SharePoint2013 virtual machine. In Settings select IDE Controller 1: DVD Drive. Select Image file, browse to folder SQL Server 2012 SP1 in your own computer and select the SQL Server 2012 SP1 image. Click Open. Click OK. 3. Käynnistä SharePoint2013 -virtuaalikone (Action Start). Start the SharePoint 2013 virtual machine (Action Start). 4. Odota, kunnes Server Manager aukeaa. If not open wait until Server Manager opens. 5. Valitse Server Managerissa Local Server. In Server Manager select Local Server.

6. Hae rivi IE Enhanced Security Configuration ja käännä se pois päältä klikkaamalla rivin lopussa olevaa linkkiä On ja valitsemalla kummassakin kentässä arvot Off. Klikkaa lopuksi OK. Locate item IE Enhanced Security Configuration, and turn it Off. Click OK. 7. Verkko-osoitteen tarkistaminen: Avaa PowerShell. Anna komento ipconfig Network Settings: Open PowerShell. Type ipconfig. 8. Ota ylös IPv4-osoite (tässä 192.168.1.17). Sitä käytetään myöhemmin. Huom! Osoite riippuu käytettävissä olevasta järjestelmästä! Sulje PowerShell-ikkuna. Write down the IPv4 address. It will be used later. Note! The address depends on the current system. Close PowerShell. 9. Ennen SQL Server -asennusta varmistetaan vielä, että verkkoyhteydet ovat kunnossa. Vie kohdistin näytön oikeaan ala-tai ylänurkkaan ja valitse haku (Search). Before starting the SQL Server installation the network settings must be checked to ensure full network connectivity. Hover and select Windows Search tool. 10. If the Internet Explorer icon is not visible, type Internet in the search field. Jos Internet Explorer -kuvake ei ole näkyvissä, kirjoita hakuruutuun Internet. 11. Right-click the Internet Explorer icon and select Pin to Taskbar. Klikkaa hiiren oikealla Internet Explorer -kuvaketta ja valitse Pin to Taskbar.

12. Click the Internet Explorer Icon. Internet Explorer opens. Klikkaa Internet Explorer -kuvaketta. Internet Explorer avautuu. 13. If asked, select the Use recommended security and compatibility settings and click OK. Valitse tarvittaessa Use recommended security and compatibility settings ja klikkaa OK. 14. Type in the address field e.g. http://www.metropolia.fi. Kirjoita osoitekenttään http://www.metropolia.fi. 15. Jos sivu aukeaa oikein, verkkoasetukset ovat kunnossa ja siirry kohtaan 20. Muussa tapauksessa asetukset on korjattava. If the page opens correctly, the network connections are ok and you can continue from step 20. Otherwise the settings need to be corrected. 16. DNS-asetusten tarkistaminen: Avaa DNS Manager (Server Manager Tools DNS). Checking DNS Settings: Open DNS Manager (Server Manager Tools DNS). 17. Laajenna ja klikkaa hiiren oikealla SHAREPOINT2013 ja valitse Properties Forwarders. Expand SHAREPOINT2013, right-click SHAREPOINT2013and select Properties Forwarders.

18. Tarkista Forwarders-osoitteet. Kuvassa ensimmäinen on erään testijärjestelmän ADSL-modeemin osoite ja kaksi seuraavaa palveluntarjoajan DNS-palvelinosoitetta (Elisa). Arvot riippuvat käytettävästä verkosta ja palveluntarjoajasta. Anna isäntäkoneella komentoikkunassa komento ipconfig /all. Näet nykyisen järjestelmäsi DNS IP-osoitteet kentässä DNS Servers. Esimerkiksi Metropolian Bulelabin DNS-osoitteet ovat 10.95.254.252 ja 10.95.252.253. Sijoita sitten oman isäntäsi DNS IP -osoitteet klikkaamalla ensin Edit, poistamalla kentässä jo olevat osoitteet ja syöttämällä IP-osoitteet yksi kerrallaan. Check the DNS forwarders. In the picture the first address is the address of the ADSL modem and the following addresses are Internet provider s DNS addresses (Elisa) used in the test system. The values depend on the service provider and network used. Type in the host in command prompt ipconfig /all to see your current DNS IP addresses (in the field DNS Servers). The DNS addresses of Metropolia Bulelab are 10.95.254.252 and 10.95.252.253. Click Edit, remove the old addresses and add the current DNS IP addresses one at a time. 19. Klikkaa OK ja sulje DNS Manager. Click OK and close DNS Manager. 20. Avaa File Explorer. Open File Explorer. 21. Avaa DVD Drive (D:). Open DVD Drive (D:). 22. Aloita SQL Server -asennus kaksoisklikkaamalla setup.exe. Start SQL Server setup by double-clicking setup.exe.

23. SQL Server Installation Center aukeaa. Valitse Installation. The SQL Server Installation Center opens. Select Installation. 24. Valitse New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation. Select New SQL Server stand-alone installation or add features to an existing installation. 25. Klikkaa OK, kun Setup Support Rules -ikkuna aukeaa. Valitse sitten Evaluation Production Key -ikkunassa ja klikkaa Next. When the Setup Support Rules window appears, click OK. Select the Evaluation mode in the Product key window and click Next.

26. Hyväksy lisenssiehdot ja klikkaa Next. Accept license terms and click Next. 27. Asenna päivitykset klikkaamalla Next. Accept Install Product Updates by clicking Next. 28. Hyväksy Setup Support Rules klikkaamalla Next. Accept the Setup Support Rules by clicking Next.

Select Windows authentication mode, add SQL Server Administrator SP\Administrator by clicking Add Current User and click Next. 36. Reporting Services Configuration -ikkuna aukeaa. Klikkaa Next. The Reporting Services Configuration window opens. Click Next.

37. Error Reporting -ikkuna aukeaa. Klikkaa Next. The Error Reporting window opens. Click Next. 38. Installation Configuration Rules -ikkuna aukeaa. Klikkaa Next. The Installation Configuration Rules window opens. Click Next. 39. Ready to Install Rules -ikkuna aukeaa. Klikkaa Install. The Ready to Install window opens. Click Install.

40. Klikkaa Close, kun asennus on valmis. When the installation is ready, click Close. 41. Sulje Installation Center (Close). Close the Installation Center. 42. Vie kohdistin näytön oikeaan ala-tai ylänurkkaan ja klikkaa hakusymbolia ( suurennuslasi ). Hover and select Windows Search tool. 43. Kirjoita hakuruutuun SQL. Klikkaa SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS). Type SQL in the search box. Click SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).

44. Klikkaa SQL Server Management Studiossa Connect. Click Connect in SQL Server Management Studio. 45. Klikkaa hiiren oikealla instanssin nimeä (SharePoint2013 ) ja valitse Properties. Right-click the instance name (SharePoint2013 ) and click Properties. 46. Aseta Advanced-välilehdellä parametrin MAXDOP arvoksi 1 ja klikkaa OK. On the Advanced tab set the MAXDOP option to 1 and click OK.

47. Avaa Security-välilehti ja laajenna Logins. Kaksoisklikkaa SP\Administrator. Open the Security tab and expand Logins. Double-click on SP\Administrator. 48. Klikkaa Server Roles ja rastita ruutu dbcreator ja klikkaa OK. Click Server Roles and tick the dbcreator box and click OK.

49. Sulje SQL Server Management Studio. Close the SQL Server Management Studio. 50. Sulje virtuaalikone valitsemalla Hyper-V-konsolissa Shut Down. In Hyper-V Manager select Shut Down the virtual machine. 51. Accept the warning. Hyväksy varoitus klikkaamalla Shut Down. 52. Valitse Hyper-V Managerissa SharePoint2013-virtuaalikone ja sitten Settings. In Hyper-V Manager select virtual machine SharePoint2013S and click Settings.

53. Valitse IDE Controller 1: DVD Drive. Valitse None. Klikkaa OK. In Settings select IDE Controller 1: DVD Drive. Select None. Click OK. 54. Valitse SharePoint2013-virtuaalikone ja sitten Checkpoint. Select virtual machine SharePoint2013 and click Checkpoint. 55. Valitse luomasi checkpoint hiiren oikealla näppäimellä ja anna sille nimeksi Starting Image. Select the checkpoint with right mouse button and rename it as Starting Image.

APPENDIX 1 Server 2012 -harjoitusympäristön rakentaminen Creating a Server 2012 test environment The exercises are intended for Windows 8.1 Hyper-V. If it is not possible to use it because of the missing SLAT feature, a Server 2012 environment is created as follows. 1. Luo uusi partition Server 2012:a varten. Select the new partition created earlier in this exercise and click Next. Valitse edellä luomasi partitio ja klikkaa Next. 10. Asennus käynnistyy. The setup starts.

11. Kun asennus on valmis ja kone käynnistyy uudelleen, syötä kumpaankin kenttään administraattorin salasana. Lisää Hyper-V-rooli. Add the Hyper-V role in Windows Server. 1. Klikkaa Server Managerissa Manage Add Roles and Features. In Server Manager, on the Manage menu, click Add Roles and Features. 2. Klikkaa Next. Click Next. 3. Valitse Role-based or feature-based installation ja klikkaa Next. On the Select installation type page, select Role-based or feature-based installation and then click Next. 4. Varmistu, että koneesi on valittuna ja klikkaa Next. On the Select destination server page, select a server from the server pool and then click Next. 5. Valitse Hyper-V. On the Select server roles page, select Hyper-V. 6. Klikkaa Add Features ja sitten Next. To add the tools that you use to create and manage virtual machines, click Add Features. On the Features page, click Next. 7. Klikkaa Next.
