Key Figures on Finland Space Activities in 2014 3
Digitoday 23.6.2015: Sentinel-2A:ssa on suomalaista tekniikkaa ainakin RUAG Space Finlandilta. Se kertoo toimittaneensa satelliittiin elektronisen ohjausja signaalinkäsittelylaitteen (Remote Interface Unit). Laite mittaa "satelliitin tilaan liittyviä olennaisia parametreja ja välittää ohjauskäskyjä satelliitin muille laitteille". Samanlainen vehje tulee firmalta myös seuraavaan Sentinel-2B-satelliittiin. The basis of Finnish strategy Capabilities in science and technology Products of space and application industry Impact on public and private services for the benefits to society
The Finnish space strategy: two applications areas based on scientific and industrial foundations Raising the level of scientific research Increasing the competiveness of space industry Space applications for the Arctic region Services based on Open Data
Space-based applications respond to the growing demands in the Arctic area The goal is to create public and commercial services. We strengthen research of the Arctic region (e.g. climate change and environmental safety) to help the utilization of the Arctic resources (e.g. natural resources, transportation in the Arctic, including the Arctic Ocean).
