Building masses embrace the 1960 s town hall, lowering and transforming into smaller scale housing towards the green north side. Competition, 2016. Colligo. A hands-on approach for habitating a large amount of asylum seekers in Finland in the autumn of 2015. Competition proposal. Aksonometria tilaelementtien kokoamisesta Sivukäytävä Sivukäytävän pystypinnassa sinkitty teräsverkko ja köynnöskasvustoa Teräsrunkoinen sivukäytävä asennetaan elementin alarungon teräsjatkeiden päälle, pintaan 50 mm betonivalu Tilaelementti Päälle asennettavan elementin kiinnitysantura Parvekkeet ripustetaan elementin kantavaan runkoon. Vaihtelevan syvyiset parvekkeet luovat visuaalista vaihtelua julkisivuun. Elementin ulkomitat: L=4,0 m K=3,2 m S=6,2 m Huoneistopinta-ala 20,9 m2 1:50 Elementtien välissä on n. 30...50 mm rako, johon asennettavista syöksyistä kerätään sadevesi käyttövedeksi Elementeissä on asuntokohtainen ilmanvaihtolaite lämmön talteenotolla Alemman kerroksen elementin katolle asennettu puukoolaus ja terassilaudoitus (käsittelemätön kuusilauta) kattoterassin pinnaksi Katolle voidaan haluttaessa asentaa lisärakenteet esimerkiksi viherkatteelle Seinään asennetut aurinkopaneelit 1:50 Elementin näkyviin pintoihin asennetaan teräsverkko yhtenäisen visuaalisen ilmeen luomiseksi, kiinnitys hitsaamalla Parveke Pystyroilo lämpöeristetty elementtien välissä Kahden elementin välinen näkyvä sauma: esivalmistettaessa verkon reuna jätetään 100 mm etäisyydelle elementin reunasta. Pohjola-talo. A proposal for adding 50000 sqm housing in 1970 s office complex. An urban village is created on the existing rooftop. The rooftop will be transformed into a green space. Deltamarin HQ II, a 4500 m2 office building, is located next to the Turku airport. The two open floorplans hide a central courtyard. In the office spaces, floor-to-ceiling windows offer views towards the courtyard, as some of the surrounding facades are more closed according to the direction of the sun. Commission, discontinued, 2011. Together with architect Tuomas Toivonen.

Valkeakosken Eteläinen keskusta, Valkeakoski South Central, is an urban renewal in a small industrial town in Southern Finland. The 1970 s blocks and the enormously wide streets are replaced with a dense and a pluralist city centre. The new lively area activates the previously unused lakeside and connects to the nearby northern centre. Commission, 2011. Together with architect Eero Lundén.

Lehteviä puita ja perennoita, our proposal for the extension of the Serlachius art museum is an organic arrangement of white boxes, the classic ingredients of an art museum, laid between big and old trees. Together with the changing nature and sunlight, the combination forms a continuous spacial play for the visitor to wander in. Competition proposal, 2011. Together with architects Sofia de Vocht and Tommy Gustafsson.

City of Tampere is eagerly trying to achieve a position as The Second City of Finland. This urban strategy, Tampere - sinun kaupunkisi, is part of that process. It aims at activating the city centre by a versatile urban renewal including adding of floor area, cutting heavy traffic and building more parks and bridges around the city and over the Tammerkoski rapid.
