Background of FULLREC - solution Outotecin ja Ecolan Oy:n yhteinen FULLREC-lietteenkäsittelymenetelmä saavuttivat jaetun ensimmäisen sijan Ravinnekierto Challenge -ideakilpailussa. Alan toimijoiden mukaan ravinnekierron tehostuminen on mahdollista ennen kaikkea kannattavan liiketoiminnan myötä. FULLREC - RATKAISUssa, yhdyskuntien jätevesien lietteestä ja energian tuotannon tuhkista saadaan talteen ravinteita myytäviksi lannoitetuotteiksi. Ehdotus yhdistää kolme aiemmin erillistä teknistä prosessia. Mädätettyä yhdyskuntajätteen lietettä ei perinteiseen tapaan polteta kokonaan, vaan kuivataan ja sekoitetaan tuhkaan seos rakeistetaan ja pystytään kuljettamaan kustannustehokkaasti pitkänkin matkan päähän esimerkiksi metsien lannoittamiseksi.
