Nämä standardit ovat ns. horisontaaleja standardeja, johon tuotestandardit tarvittaessa viitataan. Liitteessä on kaavio NDT-standardeja koskevasta järjestelmästä. Sen lisäksi laaditaan NDT-standardeja myös levyille, putkille, valuille ja takeille.
