Children and vulnerable people safety This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Do not let children play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. Keep all packaging away from children. General Safety This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as: Farm houses; staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments By clients in hotels, motels, bed and breakfast and other residential type environments Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance enclosure or in the built-in structure, clear of obstruction.

3 Progress 3 Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process, other than those recommended by the manufacturer. Do not damage the refrigerant circuit. Do not use electrical appliances inside the food storage compartments of the appliance, unless they are of the type recommended by the manufacturer. Do not use water spray and steam to clean the appliance. Clean the appliance with a moist soft cloth. Only use neutral detergents. Do not use abrasive products, abrasive cleaning pads, solvents or metal objects. Do not store explosive substances such as aerosol cans with a flammable propellant in this appliance. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Installation WARNING! Only a qualified person must install this appliance. Remove all the packaging. Do not install or use a damaged appliance. Obey the installation instruction supplied with the appliance. Always be careful when you move the appliance because it is heavy. Always wear safety gloves. Make sure the air can circulate around the appliance. Wait at least 4 hours before connecting the appliance to the power supply. This is to allow the oil to flow back in the compressor. Do not install the appliance close to radiators or cookers, oven or hobs. The rear of the appliance must stand against the wall. Do not install the appliance where there is direct sunlight. Do not install this appliance in areas that are too humid or too colds, such as the construction appendices, garages or wine cellars. When you move the appliance, lift it by the front edge to avoid scratching the floor. Electrical connection WARNING! Risk of fire and electrical shock. The appliance must be earthed. All electrical connections should be made by a qualified electrician. Make sure that the electrical information on the rating plate agrees with the power supply. If not, contact an electrician. Always use a correctly installed shockproof socket. Do not use multi-plug adapters and extension cables. Make sure not to cause damage to the electrical components (e.g. mains plug, mains cable, compressor). Contact the

4 4 Progress Service or an electrician to change the electrical components. The mains cable must stay below the level of the mains plug. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket only at the end of the installation. Make sure that there is access to the mains plug after the installation. Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the appliance. Always pull the mains plug. Use WARNING! Risk of injury, burns, electrical shock or fire. Do not change the specification of this appliance. Do not put electrical appliances (e.g. ice cream makers) in the appliance unless they are stated applicable by the manufacturer. Be careful not to cause damage to the refrigerant circuit. It contains isobutane (R600a), a natural gas with a high level of environmental compatibility. This gas is flammable. If damage occurs to the refrigerant circuit, make sure that there are no flames and sources of ignition in the room. Ventilate the room. Do not let hot items to touch the plastic parts of the appliance. Do not put soft drinks in the freezer compartment. This will create pressure on the drink container. Do not store flammable gas and liquid in the appliance. Do not put flammable products or items that are wet with flammable products in, near or on the appliance. Do not touch the compressor or the condenser. They are hot. Do not remove or touch items from the freezer compartment if your hands are wet or damp. Do not freeze again food that has been thawed. Obey the storage instructions on the packaging of frozen food. Care and cleaning WARNING! Risk of injury or damage to the appliance. Before maintenance, deactivate the appliance and disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket. This appliance contains hydrocarbons in the cooling unit. Only a qualified person must do the maintenance and the recharging of the unit. Regularly examine the drain of the appliance and if necessary, clean it. If the drain is blocked, defrosted water collects in the bottom of the appliance. Disposal WARNING! Risk of injury or suffocation. Disconnect the appliance from the mains supply. Cut off the mains cable and discard it. Remove the door to prevent children and pets to be closed inside of the appliance. The refrigerant circuit and the insulation materials of this appliance are ozonefriendly. The insulation foam contains flammable gas. Contact your municipal authority for information on how to discard the appliance correctly. Do not cause damage to the part of the cooling unit that is near the heat exchanger.

5 Progress 5 OPERATION Switching on 1. Insert the plug into the wall socket. 2. Turn the Temperature regulator clockwise to a medium setting. Switching off To turn off the appliance, turn the temperature regulator to the "0" position. Temperature regulation The temperature is regulated automatically. A medium setting is generally the most suitable. However, the exact setting should be chosen keeping in mind that the temperature inside the appliance depends on: room temperature, how often the door is opened, the quantity of food stored, the location of the appliance. 1. Turn the Temperature regulator toward lower settings to obtain the minimum coldness. 2. Turn the Temperature regulator toward higher settings to obtain the maximum coldness. DAILY USE Freezing fresh food The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-frozen food for a long time. To freeze fresh foods it is not necessary to change the medium setting. Place the fresh food to be frozen in the middle compartment For a faster freezing operation, turn the temperature regulator toward higher settings to obtain the maximum coldness. CAUTION! If the ambient temperature is high or the appliance is fully loaded, and the appliance is set to the lowest temperatures, it may run continuously causing frost to form on the rear wall. In this case the dial must be set to a higher temperature to allow automatic defrosting and therefore reduced energy consumption. CAUTION! In this condition, the refrigerator compartment temperature might drop below 0 C. If this occurs reset the temperature regulator to a warmer setting. Storage of frozen food When first starting-up or after a period out of use, before putting the products in the compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the higher settings.

6 6 Progress Thawing In the event of accidental defrosting, for example due to a power failure, if the power has been off for longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under "rising time", the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after cooling). Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to being used, can be thawed in the refrigerator compartment or at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation. Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer: in this case, cooking will take longer. Movable shelves Positioning the door shelves To permit storage of food packages of various sizes, the door shelves can be placed at different heights. To make these adjustments proceed as follows: 1. Gradually pull the shelf in the direction of the arrow until it comes free. 2. Reposition the shelf as required. Temperature Indicator This appliance is sold in France. In accordance with regulations valid in this country it must be provided with a special device (see figure) placed in the lower compartment of the fridge to indicate the coldest zone of it. The walls of the refrigerator are equipped with a series of supports so that the shelves can be positioned as desired. Ice-cube production This appliance is equipped with one or more trays for the production of ice-cubes. Do not use metallic instruments to remove the trays from the freezer. 1. Fill these trays with water 2. Put the ice trays in the freezer compartment. Frozen Food Calendar The symbols show different types of frozen goods. The numbers indicate storage times in months for the appropriate types of frozen goods. Whether the upper or lower value of the indicated storage time is valid depends

7 Progress 7 on the quality of the foods and treating before freezing. HINTS AND TIPS Normal operating sounds The following sounds are normal during operation: A faint gurgling and bubbling sound from coils sound when refrigerant is pumped. A whirring and pulsating sound from the compressor when refrigerant is pumped. A sudden cracking noise from inside appliance caused by thermic dilatation (a natural and not dangerous physical phenomenon). A faint click noise from the temperature regulator when the compressor switches on or off. Hints for energy saving Do not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary. If the ambient temperature is high and the Temperature Regulator is set to low temperature and the appliance is fully loaded, the compressor may run continuously, causing frost or ice on the evaporator. If this happens, set the Temperature Regulator toward warmer settings to allow automatic defrosting and so a saving in electricity consumption. Hints for fresh food refrigeration To obtain the best performance: do not store warm food or evaporating liquids in the refrigerator do cover or wrap the food, particularly if it has a strong flavour position food so that air can circulate freely around it Hints for refrigeration Useful hints: Meat (all types) : wrap in polythene bags and place on the glass shelf above the vegetable drawer. For safety, store in this way only one or two days at the most. Cooked foods, cold dishes, etc..: these should be covered and may be placed on any shelf. Fruit and vegetables: these should be thoroughly cleaned and placed in the special drawer(s) provided. Butter and cheese: these should be placed in special airtight containers or wrapped in aluminium foil or polythene bags to exclude as much air as possible. Bottles: these need a cap and should be stored on the door bottle shelf, or (if equipped) on the bottle rack. Bananas, potatoes, onions and garlic, if not packed, must not be kept in the refrigerator. Hints for freezing To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints: the maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate; the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be frozen should be added during this period; freeze only top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs; prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required; wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight; do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus

8 8 Progress avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter; lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces the storage life of food; water ices, if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt; it is advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual pack to enable you to keep tab of the storage time. Hints for storage of frozen food To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should: CARE AND CLEANING WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters. General warnings CAUTION! Unplug the appliance before carrying out any maintenance operation. This appliance contains hydrocarbons in its cooling unit; maintenance and recharging must therefore only be carried out by authorized technicians. The accessories and parts of the appliance are not suitable for washing in a dishwasher. Periodic cleaning CAUTION! Do not pull, move or damage any pipes and/or cables inside the cabinet. CAUTION! Take care of not to damage the cooling system. CAUTION! When moving the cabinet, lift it by the front edge to avoid scratching the floor. make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer; be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the foodstore to the freezer in the shortest possible time; not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary; once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen; do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacturer. The equipment has to be cleaned regularly: 1. Clean the inside and accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap. 2. Regularly check the door seals and wipe clean to ensure they are clean and free from debris. 3. Rinse and dry thoroughly. 4. If accessible, clean the condenser and the compressor at the back of the appliance with a brush. This operation will improve the performance of the appliance and save electricity consumption. Defrosting of the refrigerator Frost is automatically eliminated from the evaporator of the refrigerator compartment every time the motor compressor stops, during normal use. The defrost water drains out through a trough into a special container at the back of the appliance, over the motor compressor, where it evaporates. It is important to periodically clean the defrost water drain hole in the middle of the refrigerator compartment channel to prevent the water overflowing and dripping onto the food inside.

9 Progress 9 Defrosting the freezer CAUTION! Never use sharp metal tools to scrape off frost from the evaporator as you could damage it. Do not use a mechanical device or any artificial means to speed up the thawing process other than those recommended by the manufacturer. A temperature rise of the frozen food packs, during defrosting, may shorten their safe storage life. About 12 hours prior to defrosting, set a lower temperature, in order to build up sufficient chill reserve for the interruption in operation. A certain amount of frost will always form on the freezer shelves and around the top compartment. Defrost the freezer when the frost layer reaches a thickness of about 3-5 mm. 1. Switch off the appliance, or pull out electrical plug from the wall socket. 2. Remove any stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a cool place. TROUBLESHOOTING WARNING! Do not touch frozen goods with wet hands. Hands can freeze to the goods. 3. Leave the door open. In order to speed up the defrosting process, place a pot of warm water in the freezer compartment. In addition, remove pieces of ice that break away before defrosting is complete. 4. When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly. 5. Switch on the appliance. After three hours reload the previously removed food into the freezer compartment. Periods of non-operation When the appliance is not in use for long periods, take the following precautions: 1. Disconnect the appliance from electricity supply. 2. Remove all food. 3. Defrost (if necessary) and clean the appliance and all accessories. 4. Clean the appliance and all accessories. 5. Leave the door/doors open to prevent unpleasant smells. WARNING! If the cabinet will be kept on, ask somebody to check it once in a while to prevent the food inside from spoiling in case of a power failure. WARNING! Refer to Safety chapters.

The melting water outlet is not connected to the evaporative tray above the compressor. The temperature regulator is not set correctly. Switch on the appliance. Connect the mains plug to the mains socket correctly. Connect a different electrical appliance to the mains socket. Contact a qualified electrician. Check if the appliance stands stable. Refer to "Operation" chapter. Wait some hours and then check the temperature again. Refer to climate class chart on the rating plate. Allow food products to cool to room temperature before storing. Refer to "Closing the door". Position the water drainage plug in the correct way. Wrap the food products better. Refer to "Operation" chapter. Clean the water outlet. Make sure that food products do not touch the rear plate. Attach the melting water outlet to the evaporative tray. Set a higher/lower temperature.

11 Progress 11 Problem Possible cause Solution The door is not closed correctly. The food products' temperature is too high. Many food products are stored at the same time. The thickness of the frost is greater than 4-5 mm. The door has been opened often. There is no cold air circulation in the appliance. Refer to "Closing the door". Let the food products temperature decrease to room temperature before storage. Store less food products at the same time. Defrost the appliance. Open the door only if necessary. Make sure that there is cold air circulation in the appliance. If the advice does not lead to the desired result, call the nearest brand-mark service. Replacing the lamp 1. Disconnect the plug from the mains socket 2. At the same time, with the fingers expand up and down the transparent cover and unhook it in the direction of the arrows. 1 for household appliances. (the maximum power is shown on the light bulb cover). 4. Reassemble the lamp cover. 5. Connect the plug to the mains socket. Open the door. Make sure that the light comes on. Closing the door 1. Clean the door gaskets. 2. If necessary, adjust the door. Refer to "Installation". 3. If necessary, replace the defective door gaskets. Contact the After Sales Service Replace the lamp with one of the same power and shape, specifically designed

12 12 Progress INSTALLATION Positioning This appliance can be installed in a dry, well ventilated indoor where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate class indicated on the rating plate of the appliance: Ventilation requirements The airflow behind the appliance must be sufficient. 5 cm min. 200 cm 2 Climate class Ambient temperature SN +10 C to + 32 C N +16 C to + 32 C ST +16 C to + 38 C T +16 C to + 43 C Some functional problems might occur for some types of models when operating outside of that range. The correct operation can only be guaranteed within the specified temperature range. If you have any doubts regarding where to install the appliance, please turn to the vendor, to our customer service or to the nearest Service Centre Electrical connection Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the rating plate correspond to your domestic power supply. The appliance must be earthed. The power supply cable plug is provided with a contact for this purpose. If the domestic power supply socket is not earthed, connect the appliance to a separate earth in compliance with current regulations, consulting a qualified electrician. The manufacturer declines all responsibility if the above safety precautions are not observed. This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Directives. min. 200 cm 2 CAUTION! Refer to the assembly instructions for the installation. Door reversibility 1. Loosen and remove the upper pin. 2. Remove the upper door. 3. Remove the spacer. 4. Loosen the middle hinge.

13 Progress Remove the lower door. 6. Loosen and remove the lower pin. 7. Tighten the lower pin on the opposite side. 8. Install the lower door. 9. Tighten the middle hinge. 10. Install the spacer. 11. Install the upper door. 12. Tighten the upper pin. Do a final check to make sure that: All screws are tightened. The magnetic seal adheres to the cabinet. The door opens and closes correctly. If the ambient temperature is cold (i.e. in Winter), the gasket may not fit perfectly to the cabinet. In that case, wait for the natural fitting of the gasket. In case you do not want to carry out the above mentioned operations, contact the nearest After Sales Service Force. The After Sales Service specialist will carry out the reversibility of the doors at your cost. Installing the appliance CAUTION! Make sure that the mains cable can move freely. 1. If necessary cut the adhesive sealing strip and then apply it to the appliance as shown in figure. x x 2. Install the appliance in the niche. 3. Push the appliance in the direction of the arrows (1) until the upper gap cover stops against the kitchen furniture.

14 14 Progress mm 44 mm 4. Push the appliance in the direction of the arrows (2) against the cupboard on the opposite side of the hinge. 5. Adjust the appliance in the niche. Make sure that the distance between the appliance and the cupboard frontedge is 44 mm. The lower hinge cover (in the accessories bag) makes sure that the distance between the appliance and the kitchen furniture is correct. Make sure that the clearance between the appliance and the cupboard is 4 mm. 6. Open the door. Put the lower hinge cover in position. 7. Attach the appliance to the niche with 4 screws. 8. Remove the correct part from the hinge cover (E). Make sure to remove the part DX, in the case of right hinge, SX in opposite case. I I

15 Progress 15 G H 9. Attach the covers (C, D) to the lugs and the hinge holes. D C 14. Tighten the screws of the part (G) again. 15. Attach the part (H) to the part (G). 16. Disconnect the parts (Ha), (Hb), (Hc) and (Hd). Hb Ha E E B 10. Install the vent grille (B). 11. Attach the hinge covers (E) to the hinge. 12. Connect the appliance laterally to the kitchen furniture sidewall. 13. Loosen the screws of the part (G) and move the part (G) till the furniture sidewall. Hd Hc 17. Put together the appliance door and the furniture door and mark the holes. 23. Place the small square on the guide again and fix it with the screws supplied. 24. Align the kitchen furniture door and the appliance door by adjusting the part (Hb). 8 mm Hb Ha 22. Remove the brackets and mark a distance of 8 mm from the outer edge of the door where the nail must be fitted (K). Hb 25. Press the part (Hd) on the part (Hb). Hb Hd Do a final check to make sure that: All screws are tightened. The sealing strip is attached tightly to the cabinet. The door opens and closes correctly.

Elektriliste osade vahetamiseks pöörduge teeninduskeskusse või elektriku poole. Toitejuhe peab jääma toitepistikust allapoole. Ühendage toitepistik seinakontakti alles pärast paigalduse lõpuleviimist. Veenduge, et pärast paigaldamist säilib juurdepääs toitepistikule. Seadet välja lülitades ärge tõmmake toitekaablist. Hoidke alati kinni toitepistikust. Kasutamine HOIATUS! Vigastuse, põletuse või elektrilöögioht! Ärge muutke seadme tehnilisi omadusi. Ärge pange seadmesse muid elektriseadmeid (nt jäätisevalmistajat), kui see pole tootja poolt ette nähtud. Olge ettevaatlik külmutusagensi süsteemiga see on õrn. Külmutusagens sisaldab isobutaani (R600a), mis on suhteliselt keskkonnaohutu gaas. Siiski on see tuleohtlik. Kui külmutusagens on viga saanud, siis veenduge, ega seadmest ei tule leeke või suitsu. Õhutage ruum korralikult. Jälgige, et kuumad esemed ei puutuks vastu seadme plastpindu. Ärge asetage kihisevaid jooke sügavkülmikusse. See tekitab joogipudelis rõhku. Ärge hoidke seadmes süttivaid gaase ega vedelikke. Ärge pange süttivaid või süttiva ainega määrdunud esemeid seadmesse, selle lähedusse või peale. Ärge katsuge kompressorit ega kondensaatorit. Need on kuumad. Ärge eemaldage sügavkülmikust toiduaineid ega puutuge neid märgade või niiskete kätega. Ärge külmutage juba ülessulatatud toiduaineid. Järgige külmutatud toiduainete pakenditel olevaid säilitusjuhiseid. Puhastus ja hooldus HOIATUS! Seadme vigastamise või kahjustamise oht! Enne hooldust lülitage seade välja ja ühendage toitepistik pistikupesast lahti. Selle seadme jahutusüksus sisaldab süsivesinikke. Süsteemi tohib hooldada ja laadida ainult kvalifitseeritud tehnik. Kontrollige regulaarselt külmiku äravooluava; vajadusel puhastage. Kui äravooluava on ummistunud, koguneb sulamisvesi seadme põhjale. Jäätmekäitlus HOIATUS! Lämbumis- või vigastusoht! Eemaldage seade vooluvõrgust. Lõigake toitekaabel seadme küljest lahti ja visake ära. Eemaldage uksekäepide, et vältida laste ja loomade seadmesse lõksujäämist. Selle seadme külmutusagensi süsteem ja isolatsioonimaterjalid on osoonisõbralikud. Isolatsioonivaht sisaldab tuleohtlikku gaasi. Seadme õige kõrvaldamise kohta saate täpsemaid juhiseid kohalikust omavalitsusest. Ärge vigastage soojusvaheti läheduses paiknevat jahutusüksust.

22 22 Progress KASUTAMINE Sisselülitamine 1. Pange toitepistik pistikupessa. 2. Keerake temperatuuriregulaator päripäeva keskmisse asendisse. Väljalülitamine Seadme väljalülitamiseks keerake temperatuuriregulaator asendisse "0". Temperatuuri reguleerimine Temperatuuri reguleeritakse automaatselt. Kõige sobivam on tavaliselt keskmine säte. Siiski tuleb sobiva sätte valimiseks pidada meeles, et seadme sisetemperatuur sõltub: ruumi temperatuurist; ukse avamise sagedusest; säilitatava toidu kogusest; seadme asukohast. 1. Keerake temperatuuriregulaatorit madalama seade suunas, et valida minimaalne külmutustase. 2. Keerake temperatuuriregulaatorit kõrgema seade suunas, et valida maksimaalne külmutustase. IGAPÄEVANE KASUTAMINE Värske toidu külmutamine Sügavkülmutiosa sobib värske toidu külmutamiseks ning külmutatud ja sügavkülmutatud toidu pikaajaliseks säilitamiseks. Värskete toiduainete külmutamiseks ei pea keskmist seadet muutma. Paigutage külmutatav värske toit keskmisesse sektsiooni Kui soovite kiiremat külmutamist, keerake maksimaalse külmutustaseme saavutamiseks temperatuuriregulaatorit kõrgema seade suunas. ETTEVAATUST! Kui ümbritseva keskkonna temperatuur on kõrge või kui seade on täis ja temperatuur on seatud madalaimale tasemele, võib külmik pidevalt töötada, põhjustades härmatise tekkimist tagaseinal. Sellisel juhul tuleb valikunupp seada kõrgemale temperatuurile, et võimaldada automaatset sulatamist ja vähendada seeläbi energia tarbimist. ETTEVAATUST! Selles olekus või külmikuosa temperatuur langeda alla 0 C. Sel juhul keerake temperatuuriregulaatorit soojemale tasemele. Külmutatud toidu säilitamine Esmakordsel käivitamisel või pärast pikemaajalist kasutuspausi laske seadmel vähemalt 2 tundi suuremal võimsusel töötada, enne kui sügavkülmikuosasse toiduaineid asetate.

23 Progress 23 Sulatamisprotsessi tahtmatul käivitumisel, näiteks elektrikatkestuse tõttu, kui seade on olnud toiteta kauem kui tehniliste andmete tabelis toodud "tempreatuuri tõusu aeg" seda lubaks, tuleb sulatatud toit kiiresti ära tarvitada või koheselt küpsetada ja seejärel uuesti külmutada (pärast jahtumist). Sulatamine Sügavkülmutatud või külmutatud toitu võib sulatada kas külmikuosas või hoopis toatemperatuuril, olenevalt sellest, kui palju aega selleks on. Väikseid toiduportsjoneid võib valmistada ka külmutatult, otse sügavkülmikust võetuna: sel juhul kulub toiduvalmistamiseks rohkem aega. Liigutatavad riiulid Ukseriiulite paigutamine Erineva suurusega toidupakendite hoiustamiseks saab ukseriiuleid paigutada erinevatele kõrgustele. Selleks võite teha järgmist: 1. Külmiku seintel on mitu riiulituge, mis võimaldavad riiuleid paigaldada nii, nagu teile meeldib. Jääkuubikute valmistamine Seadmel on olemas üks või mitu mahutit jääkuubikute valmistamiseks. Mahutite külmikust väljavõtmiseks ärge kasutage metallesemeid. 1. Täitke need mahutid veega 2. Asetage jäämahutid sügavkülmikusektsiooni. VIHJEID JA NÄPUNÄITEID Normaalsed töötamise ajal kostuvad helid Järgmised helid on töötamise ajal normaalsed: Nõrk vulisemise ja mulisemise heli süsteemist, kui külmutusagensi pumbatakse. Vihisev ja tuksuv heli kompressorist, kui külmutusagensi pumbatakse. Järsk praksuv heli seadme seest, mida põhjustab soojuspaisumine (loomulik ja ohutu füüsikaline nähtus). Nõrk klõpsuv heli temperatuuri regulaatorist, kui kompressor lülitub sisse või välja. Sellisel juhul seadke temperatuuriregulaator soojemale tasemele, et võimaldada automaatset sulatamist ja vähendada seeläbi energia tarbimist. Soovitusi värske toidu säilitamiseks külmikus Parima tööjõudluse tagamiseks: ärge pange külmikusse sooja toitu või auravaid vedelikke, katke toiduained kinni või mähkige sisse, eriti juhul, kui toiduaine on tugeva lõhnaga, pange toidud külmikusse nii, et õhk saaks nende ümber liikuda. Näpunäiteid toidu säilitamiseks külmikus Näpunäited: Liha (igasugune): mähkige polüetüleenkilesse ja pange juurviljasahtli kohal olevale klaasriiulile. Sel viisil säilitage liha ainult üks või kaks päeva, mitte rohkem. Küpsetatud toidud, külmad road jms: tuleks kinni katta; paigutada võib neid igale riiulile. Puu- ja köögiviljad: puhastada korralikult ja panna vastava(te)sse sahtli(te)sse. Või ja juust: hoida sobivas hermeetilises pakendis või mähkida alumiiniumfooliumisse või polüetüleenkilesse, et õhk toiduainest eemal hoida. Pudelid: keerake peale kork ja paigutage ukse küljes olevale pudeliriiulile või pudelirestile (kui see on olemas). Pakkimata banaane, kartuleid, sibulaid, küüslauku ei tohi külmikus hoida. Näpunäiteid sügavkülmutamiseks Sügavkülmutamise kõige tõhusamaks kasutamiseks järgige paari olulist soovitust: toidu maksimaalne kogus, mida võib 24 tunni jooksul külmutada, on toodud seadme andmesildil; külmutamisprotsess kestab 24 tundi. Selle aja vältel ei tohi seadmesse toiduaineid lisada;

25 Progress 25 külmutage ainult kvaliteetset, värsket ja korralikult puhastatud toitu; jagage toiduained väiksemateks portsjoniteks, et see kiiresti läbi külmuks ja et hiljem saaksite ainult vajaliku koguse üles sulatada; mässige toit fooliumisse või polüetüleenkilesse ja veenduge, et pakend on õhukindel; ärge pange värsket külmutamata toitu külmutatud toidu vastu, kuna vastasel korral külmutatud toidu temperatuur tõuseb; lahjad toiduained säilivad paremini ja kauem kui rasvased toiduained, sool vähendab toidu säilitusaega; jäätükkide tarbimine kohe pärast sügavkülmikust väljavõtmist võib põhjustada naha külmakahjustusi; säilitusaja jälgimiseks on soovitav igale säilitatavale toidule märkida külmutamiskuupäev. Ärge tõmmake, teisaldage ega vigastage torusid ja/või kaableid, mis paiknevad korpuses. Nõuandeid külmutatud toidu säilitamiseks Parima tööjõudluse tagamiseks peaksite: veenduma, et poest ostetud külmutatud toiduaineid säilitatakse juhiseid järgides; pange külmutatud toit pärast ostmist niipea kui võimalik sügavkülmikusse; ärge avage sügavkülmiku ust sageli ja ärge jätke ust lahti kauemaks, kui hädavajalik; ülessulanud toit rikneb üsna ruttu ja seda ei tohi enam uuesti külmutada; ärge ületage toidu tootja poolt ette nähtud säilitusaega. ETTEVAATUST! Olge ettevaatlik, et vältida jahutussüsteemi vigastamist. ETTEVAATUST! Seadme teisaldamisel tõstke seda esiservast, et vältida põranda kriimustamist. Seadet tuleb regulaarselt puhastada: 1. Puhastage seadme sisemus ja tarvikud sooja vee ja neutraalse pesuvahendiga. 2. Kontrollige regulaarselt uksetihendeid ja pühkige need puhtaks, eemaldades mustuse ja prahi. 3. Loputage ja kuivatage põhjalikult. 4. Puhastage seadme tagaküljel asuvat kondensaatorit ja kompressorit harjaga. See parandab seadme jõudlust ja vähendab elektritarbimist.

26 26 Progress Külmiku sulatamine Normaalkasutuse ajal eemaldatakse härmatis külmiku aurusti küljest automaatselt iga kord, kui kompressor seiskub. Sulamisvesi nõrgub mööda renni spetsiaalsesse seadme tagaküljel kompressori kohal asuvasse anumasse, kus see aurustub. Puhastage regulaarselt külmiku sees keskel olevat äravooluava auku, et ära hoida vee kogunemist ja külmikus olevatesse toiduainetesse imbumist. Sügavkülmuti sulatamine ETTEVAATUST! Aurusti vigastamise vältimiseks ärge kasutage sellelt härmatise eemaldamisel teravaid metallist tööriistu. Ärge kasutage sulatamise kiirendamiseks mehhaanilisi seadmeid või muid kunstlikke vahendeid peale tootja poolt soovitatute. Külmutatud toiduainete temperatuuri tõus sulatamise ajal võib lühendada nende säilimisaega. Ligikaudu 12 tundi enne sulatamist valige madalam temperatuur, et luua piisav külmareserv katkestuse ajaks. Sügavkülmuti riiulitel ja ülemise kambri ümbruses moodustub alati teatud määral härmatist. Sulatage sügavkülmutit, kui härmatisekihi paksus on umbes 3 5 millimeetrit. 1. Lülitage seade välja või eemaldage toitepistik pistikupesast. 2. Eemaldage säilitatavad toiduained, pakkige need mitme ajalehekihi sisse ja asetage jahedasse kohta. HOIATUS! Ärge puudutage külmutatud tooteid märgade kätega. Käed võivad külmutatud toodete külge kinni jääda. 3. Jätke uks lahti. Sulatamisprotsessi kiirendamiseks asetage sügavkülmakambrisse sooja veega täidetud keedunõu. Lisaks eemaldage sulatamisel murduvad jäätükid. 4. Kui sulatamine on lõppenud, kuivatage seadme sisemust hoolikalt. 5. Lülitage seade sisse. Kolme tunni pärast asetage varem välja võetud toiduained külmutussektsiooni. Seadme mittekasutamise perioodid Kui seadet pikema aja jooksul ei kasutata, siis rakendage järgmisi ohutusmeetmeid: 1. Ühendage seade vooluvõrgust lahti. 2. Eemaldage kõik toiduained. 3. Sulatage (kui see on ette nähtud) ja puhastage seade ning kõik tarvikud. 4. Puhastage seade ja kõik tarvikud. 5. Jätke uks/uksed lahti, et vältida ebameeldivate lõhnade tekkimist. HOIATUS! Kui seade jääb sisse, siis paluge kellelgi seda aeg-ajalt kontrollida, et vältida säilitatava toidu riknemist elektrikatkestuse korral.

Uks ei ole korralikult suletud. Vee väljalaske kork ei ole korralikult paigas. Toiduained ei ole korralikult pakendatud. Temperatuur on valesti valitud. Vee väljavooluava on ummistunud. Toiduained takistavad vee voolamist veekogumisnõusse. Ühendage toitepistik korralikult pistikupessa. Ühendage pistikupessa mõni muu elektriseade. Võtke ühendust kvalifitseeritud elektrikuga. Kontrollige, kas seade paikneb stabiilselt. Vt jaotist "Kasutamine". Oodake paar tundi, seejärel kontrollige uuesti temperatuuri. Kontrollige andmesildil olevat kliimaklassi. Enne toidu hoiustamist laske sel jahtuda toatemperatuurini. Vt jaotist "Ukse sulgemine". Paigutage vee väljalaske kork õigesti. Pakendage toiduained paremini. Vt jaotist "Kasutamine". Puhastage vee väljavooluava. Veenduge, et toiduained ei puutuks tagapaneeli.

28 28 Progress Probleem Võimalik põhjus Lahendus Põrandal on vett. Temperatuur seadmes on liiga madal/kõrge. Sulamisvee väljavooluava ei ole ühendatud kompressori kohal asuva aurustumisrenniga. Temperatuuriregulaator ei ole õigesti seadistatud. Uks ei ole korralikult suletud. Toidu temperatuur on liiga kõrge. Hoiustasite korraga liiga palju toiduaineid. Härmatise paksus on üle 4-5 mm. Ust on avatud liiga tihti. Seadmes ei ole külma õhu ringlust. Kinnitage sulamisvee väljavoolujuhik aurustumisrenni. Valige kõrgem/madalam temperatuur. Vt jaotist "Ukse sulgemine". Laske toiduainetel jahtuda toatemperatuurini, enne kui need külmikusse asetate. Ärge pange külmikusse korraga liiga palju toitu. Sulatage seade. Avage uks ainult vajadusel. Veenduge, et seadmes on tagatud külma õhu ringlus. Kui neist nõuannetest abi ei ole, helistage lähimasse vastava kaubamärgiga seotud teenindusse. Lambi asendamine 1. Eemaldage toitepistik pistikupesast. 2. Lükake läbipaistvat katet õrnalt üles ja alla ning samal ajal tõmmake see nooltega näidatud suunas lahti. 1 ning spetsiaalselt kodumasinate jaoks mõeldud. (Maksimumvõimsus on märgitud lambi kattele.) 4. Pange lambi kate tagasi. 5. Ühendage toitepistik pistikupessa. Avage uks. Kontrollige, kas lamp läheb põlema. Ukse sulgemine 1. Puhastage uksetihendid. 2. Vajadusel reguleerige ust. Vt jaotist "Paigaldamine". 3. Vajadusel asendage katkised uksetihendid uutega. Pöörduge müügijärgse teeninduse poole Vahetage vana lamp uue vastu, mis on vanaga sarnase võimsuse ja kujuga

29 Progress 29 PAIGALDAMINE Paigaldamine Selle seadme võib paigaldada kuiva, hästiventileeritud kohta, kus ümbritsev temperatuur jääb seadme andmesildil olevasse kliimaklassi vahemikku: Kliimaklass Ümbritseva õhu temperatuur SN +10 C kuni + 32 C N +16 C kuni + 32 C ST +16 C kuni + 38 C T +16 C kuni + 43 C Kui temperatuur jääb sellest vahemikust väljapoole, võivad mõne mudeli töös tekkida probleemid. Õige töö on tagatud ainult ette nähtud temperatuurivahemikus. Kui te pole kindel, kuhu seade paigaldada, siis pöörduge müüja, klienditeeninduse või lähima teeninduskeskuse poole. Elektriühendus Enne vooluvõrguga ühendamist veenduge, et andmesildil olevad elektriandmed vastavad teie kohalikule vooluvõrgule. Seade peab olema maandatud. Toitekaabli pistikul on selle jaoks vastav kontakt. Kui pistikupesa ei ole maandatud, konsulteerige pädeva elektrikuga ja ühendage seade eraldi maandusjuhiga, mis vastab kehtivatele normidele. Seadme ohutusmeetmete eiramisel vabaneb tootja mis tahes vastutusest. See seade vastab EÜ direktiividele. Uks avaneb ja sulgub õigesti. Kui ümbritsev temperatuur on madal (nt talvel), ei pruugi tihend korralikult korpuse vastu kinnituda. Sel juhul oodake, kuni tihend loomulikul teel kinnitub. Kui te ei soovi ülalkirjeldatud toiminguid ise teha, pöörduge lähimasse müügijärgsesse teenindusse. Müügijärgse teeninduse spetsialist muudab uste avamissuuna ise teie kulul. Seadme paigaldamine ETTEVAATUST! Veenduge, et toitejuhet saab vabalt liigutada. 1. Vajadusel lõigake sobivas pikkuses liimiga tihendiriba ja kinnitage see joonisel kujutatud viisil seadme külge. x x 2. Paigutage seade paigaldusnišši. 3.
