2 This Guidebook invites you to work under a unified Lumon brand. Unified visual appearance has power and it seals up company values, company s method of operation as well as product commitment. Everything that the customer sees and experiences will merge, building up an image brand. It will create an emotional tie between Lumon and the customer. Strong brand builds trust, increases customer loyalty and will distinguish Lumon from others. Lumon offers comfort for the future. One of our goals is to become a leading supplier on the European balcony and terrace markets. Customer oriented method of operation; progressive product development and over all management of the process as well as unified visual appearance are the keys to achieve the goals.

4 Logo Viihtyisyyttä pitkälle tulevaisuuteen Comfort for the future The basic element of Lumon s visual appearance is the Lumon logo. It can be used together with the slogan or www-address. If the width of the logo is less than 25 mm, no footers are used. Text type is Myriad Condensed Bold. The background of the logo should be calm. Most preferably white or light monochromatic background. Logo can also be used on top of a picture. In that case the logo must have a white outer glow, Photoshop Outer Glow, opacity 85 %.

5 Instructions how to use the logo Prohibited ways of use Clear discernment of the logo is an important part of communications visibility. The best background color for the logo is white. This way the logo can be clearly seen and its colors distinguish the best. Logo can also be used on colored, preferably light colored, backgrounds; or on top of a picture. The round figure mark of the logo is not allowed to appear separate from the letters. The logo must always be clear and distinguishable. Here are some examples of prohibited ways of use. 0,5 x 0,5 x tkälle tulevaisuu Using only a fraction of the logo is not allowed. 0,5 x 1 x Do not separate the figure mark from the logo. Lumon logo is registered in most countries. -marking must always be used in connections with the logo. 7 Fonts Standardized text types are a part of our unified communication appearance. Lumon text types are Myriad Condensed and Verdana. Fonts are used according to the examples below. If Myriard is not available, Verdana can be used in all texts. Main heading Main heading is Myriard Condensed Bold. The color is Lumon blue. Subheading Subheading is Myriad Condensed. Sub-subheadings or captions Sub-subheadings or captions are Verdana Bold. Text Text is Verdana Regular. 8 Wave figure Wave figure is an essential part of Lumon s visual identity. Strong color and shape strengthen Lumon s distinctive visual identity. The wave is used, as a color block and as an outline of pictures. Always use the original file, in order to maintain the figure of the wave. The wave figure starts from upper corner, always a same position of the curve. It can be used on both sides; right or left. Gradient color can be used in wave figure. 14 Power Point presentation Power Point presentations should be clear and simple. An image can cover the whole area or the bottom part can be left blanc as indicated in the following examples. If the background is white then a sketch picture or pictures without a background can be used. Along with the Heading a slide can have brief selected text. Whenever the printing procedure allows and the background color is appropriate, a colorful logo is used. www-address can be used in metallic pens. In plastic pens, in which the color can be picked, the colorful logo is used. Lumon s orange is used as an effect color. On a dark color base the white Lumon logo or www-address can be used. When marking the corporate gifts that are given to the company customers a special consideration is needed. The marking must be delicate. Free gifts and promotion articles, which are used to create attention, can have a clear visible marking. 20 Flags A flag can be either horizontal or vertical. The size of the flag depends on the height of the flagpole.

23 Also a picture can be used when marking a vehicle. The car on the upper picture does not have a window in its trunk; therefore the picture can be used as shown in the example. 24 Work wear and clothing The pictures are examples of the work wears used in Finland. Good spots to place the logo or wwwaddress in other clothes are sleeve ends, collars or the neck part of shirts.
