Fastening strap with suction cup General information Unit installation Read this instruction manual thoroughly before installing the unit and keep it for further consultation even after installation. This unit complies with the following directives: - low-voltage 73/23/EE; - electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EE; - PED Pressure Equipment 97/23/E; - energy labelling 2002/31/E; - Ros directive compliance. For safety reasons, installers are required to read the general information carefully. Follow all the instructions below to ensure safety. Inspect the unit for damage due to improper transport. In case of damage, file an immediate claim with the shipping company. Do not install or use damaged equipment. To prevent fire, explosion or injury, do not operate the unit near dangerous substances or close to naked light equipment. Ensure that national safety code requirements have been followed for the main supply circuit. Follow all current national safety code requirements for the installation. ake sure a connected ground wire is in place. heck that voltage and frequency of the mains power supply are those required for the unit to be installed; the available power must be adequate to operate any other appliances connected to the same line. odels 51KP300E and 51KP310 can be connected only to a supply with system impedance no more than 0.424ohm. The manufacturer declines any liability from damage resulting from modifications in the unit or errors in the electrical or hydraulic connections. Failure to observe the installation instructions, or use of the unit under conditions other than those indicated in the table Operating limits of the unit owner s manual, will immediately invalidate the unit warranty. It is recommended to install a circuit breaker or a 10 safety fuse for STND- LE units. Unit operation This appliance has an automatic function of unit restart (in the last mode selected) after an power interruption. In order to avoid electric shock, fire or injury, stop the unit in case of abnormal events (such as smell of burning) and call arrier Service for further instructions. Do not place containers filled with liquids or other objects onto the unit. aintenance WRNING: disconnect the mains power supply prior to any maintenance operations or prior to handling any internal parts of the unit. The appliance must be maintenanced every one year. The distance between the return air grills and any walls, furniture or obstructions of all kinds must be at least 50 cm. The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations. Positions to avoid: Exposed to direct sun. Too close to heat sources. On humid walls or positions with water hazard, e.g. laundry premises. Exposure to oil vapours (e.g. kitchens, workshops). Where curtains or furniture may obstruct free air circulation. The appliance must not be installed in laundry rooms. The appliance must be positioned so that the plug is accessible. dditional cares Keep out of reach of children. Do not obstruct the sides, front and rear grille with curtains or other objects. Do not put objects on the unit. Do not insert hands or anything else into the air inlet or outlet, Keep the unit more than 1m far from TV to avoid electromagnetic wave interference. Never incline or overturn the unit. Never spray insecticide or other gases to avoid deformation of the unit. 5 STND-LE Preparation for: cooling with dehumidification ENGLIS ir flow ir flow Install the flexible hose onto the air conditioner. To improve the air conditioner performance make sure that: - the internal tips of the flexible hose are turned as shown in the picture; - the hose is stretched as little as possible; - the hose is not bent, folded or throttled. ove the air conditioner close to the window, stretching the hose as little as possible (max. extension 2000 mm). To open the window as little as possible, place the air outlet vent onto the flexible hose and place them outside the window. ake sure the flexible hose is not kinked or curved too tightly and that it is placed on a supporting surface (windowsill, floor...). old the hose end in position with the fastening strap and suction cup. Ensure that the expulsion of hot air from the pipe is free from obstructions. If required, the air conditioner can be installed through a porthole in the window or through a hole in the wall follow the instructions in the manual relating to this component. 6 STND-LE Preparation for: dehumidification With the unit in the dehumidification mode, extract the flexible hose from the air conditioner and place it as shown in the picture. If you want to use a flexible hose and direct the hot air flow according to your needs, place the hose on a supporting surface. The dehumidification only function should be used if you want to remove moisture from the room air without lowering the temperature. STND-LE Preparation for: dehumidification Rear plate Drainage hole lamp Rubber plug In OOL or DRY mode the condensation water is collected in the water tank. When the water tank is full, LD displays error code 8 and the unit stops. To restart you need to empty the water tank and to stop the unit for 3 minutes. Plug out the power cord before empty the water tank. To empty the water tank,pull out the rubber plug of the pipe, take out the clamp and drain the water in a base pan. fter that, reinsert the plug into pipe to prevent leakage of condensation water and fix the drainage pipe in the clamp. lamp Drainage pipe STND-LE Preparation for: fan only If the air conditioner is to be used in the fan only mode (ventilation) the flexible hose should be inserted with the shortest length and bend so that the air flow coming out from the air conditioner is perpendicular to the floor. Using the function selector, button 2, select the preferred mode. When the unit is running, press sleep button 6. The Sleep mode 12 icon illuminates on the display. Repress it to stop the function. The unit increases the cooling temperature 1 every hour. fter 2 hours it keep the set point. Sleep function doesn t work in uto mode. Switch on the unit by pressing button. Using the function selector, button, select the preferred mode. When the unit is running, press sleep button E. The Sleep mode P icon illuminates on the display. Repress it to stop the function. The unit increases the cooling temperature 1 every hour. fter 2 hours it keep the set point. Sleep function doesn t work in uto mode. Timer setting range is between 0,5-24 h. Time will appear on display 13. When starting the unit works in the previous mode Timer programming when switching on: Switch on the unit by pressing button. Using the function selector, button, select the preferred mode When the unit is running, press the timer-on button G. Press buttons to set in how many hours the unit will start. Timer setting range is between 0,5-18 h. Time will appear on display Q. When starting the unit works in the previous mode G - 7

11 In case of ENGLIS If the unit appears not to be operating correctly, before calling a service technician please check that the operating instructions in the literature have been followed...the main switch is on, there are no breaks in the electrical cable and that the plug is correctly inserted in the socket... SET SET heck that the filters are not dirty. If the air conditioner does not respond to the controls remove the plug from the electricity socket and then replace it again. If the LD displays the power supply is unstable: remove the plug from the electricity socket, wait 10 minuts and then replace it again. If the LD displays the water tank is full: remove the plug from the electricity socket, drain out the water wait 3 minutes and then replace the plug again. leaning ook ook PETROL ir inlet grille Periodically clean the air filters at the back of the unit, every 30 days or more often if necessary. Plug out the power supply before cleaning. To pull out the filters from their position press the two hooks of the grille to take off the card of air inlet grille, then take out the air filter. First clean the filters with a vacuum cleaner then rinse and dry the filters. Reinsert the filters correctly in their position. lean the active carbon and silver plasma filter only with the vacuum cleaner instead of Water. To clean the appliance enclosure use only moist cloth and soap. NEVER use spray or flammable liquids. Drainage pipe Rear plate Rubber plug lamp Empty the remaining condensate water through the drain tube at the back of the indoor unit, then plug the tube and stow it. If the unit is not used for extended periods: Plug out the power supply. Remove the residual condensation water through the small drain pipe situated at the rear of the indoor unit, then re-fit the plug and reposition the small pipe. lean the filters. Rewind the electrical cable on the hook provided at the rear. ang the outdoor unit on the back of the indoor unit (split model). Insert the two ends of the flexible pipe into their respective holes (stand-alone model). over the air conditioner with a bag. G - 9

12 Instruction to install drainage pipe accessories Parts included: Drainage pipe lamp Pipe hoop Rubber plug Screw Installation ethod: aution: - To prevent drained water from staining the floor or carpet install the drainage pipe before starting the unit. - Keep the L-type rubber plug carefully taken from drainage hole to avoid loss. 1. Take out the L-type rubber plug from drainage hole on the unit. 2. Install the rubber plug in the drainage pipe. 3. Fix the clamp on the rear plate with screws. 4. Insert one end of the drainage pipe into the bottom of the drainage hole,and then install pipe hoop to prevent water leakage. 5. Fix the drainage pipe in the clamp. I modelli 51KP300E e 51KP310 possono essere collegati solo ad un impianto di alimentazione dotato di sistema di impedenza non superiore a 0.424ohm. Il costruttore declina ogni responsabilità per modifiche dell unità o errori di collegamento elettrico ed idraulico. L inosservanza delle istruzioni qui riportate o l utilizzo dell apparecchio in condizioni diverse da quelle riportate nel paragrafo Limiti di funzionamento del manuale dell unità, provocano l immediato decadimento della garanzia. Si raccomanda l installazione di un interruttore magnetotermico o di un fusibile di protezione da 10 per i OLOO. Funzionamento dell unità Questo apparecchio è dotato di un dispositivo automatico per il riavviamento dell unità (nell ultima modalità selezionata) a seguito dell interruzione della tensione di alimentazione. Per evitare scosse elettriche, incendi o lesioni, se si rilevano anomalie quali odore di bruciato durante il normale utilizzo, arrestare il funzionamento e rivolgersi a arrier Service per ulteriori istruzioni. Non collocare sull unità recipienti contenenti liquidi o oggetti di altro genere. anutenzione TTENZIE: Prima di ogni operazione di manutenzione e prima di accedere alle parti interne dell unità, togliere l alimentazione elettrica. La manutenzione dell unità deve essere eseguita una volta all anno. L uso di accessori non espressamente raccomandati dal fabbricante può causare ferimenti e danni. Si consiglia pertanto di usare solo accessori originali. Prevedere un intervento periodico di verifica dell unità, delle connessioni elettriche e delle protezioni. La manutenzione straordinaria deve essere eseguita solo da personale qualificato. Non tentare di riparare o modificare personalmente l unità. Operazioni effettuate da personale non qualificato possono causare scosse elettriche o incendi. Rivolgersi a personale qualificato nel caso si dovesse verificare una delle seguenti condizioni: - cavo di alimentazione caldo o danneggiato; - rumore anomalo durante il funzionamento; - frequente intervento delle protezioni; - odore anomalo (ad esempio di bruciato). Scelta del luogo di installazione onsiderare un area libera da ostruzioni che potrebbero compromettere la regola- re mandata e ripresa dell aria. onsiderare una posizione che rispetti gli spazi consigliati. La distanza delle griglie di aspirazione da eventuali pareti, mobili od ostruzioni di altro genere deve essere minimo 50 cm. onsiderare una posizione che permetta una buona distribuzione dell aria nell ambiente. Usare l unità solo all interno e unicamente per gli scopi per i quali è stata progettata. Installare l unità rispettando le normative elettriche nazionali. Da evitare: Posizione soggetta a raggi solari diretti. ree in prossimità di fonti di calore. Luoghi umidi e posizioni dove l unità potrebbe venire a contatto con acqua (es: locali adibiti ad uso lavanderia). Luoghi con vapori ad olio (es: cucine, officine meccaniche). Luoghi dove tende o mobili possano ostruire la circolazione dell aria. Non installare l unità all interno di lavanderie. Posizionare l unità in prossimità della presa di corrente. Precauzioni supplementari Tenere lontano dalla portata dei bambini. Non ostruire con tendaggi o altri oggetti le griglie laterali, anteriore e posteriore. Non porre oggetti sull apparecchio. Non inserire le mani o altri oggetti all interno delle bocchette di entrata e di uscita dell aria. Tenere l apparecchio a più di 1 metro di distanza dal televisore per evitare le interferenze causate dalle onde elettromagnetiche. ai inclinare né capovolgere l apparecchio. Non spruzzare mai insetticidi o altri gas al fine di evitare che l apparecchio si deformi. Spostare o trasportare l unità mentendola sempre in posizione verticale (ttenzione: staccare la spina dalla presa di corrente prima di spostare l unità). Smaltimento Il climatizzatore contiene refrigerante che richiede uno smaltimento speciale. Terminata la sua vita utile, questo deve essere portato negli appositi centri di raccolta o presso il rivenditore, dove si provvederà allo smaltimento del refrigerante in maniera corretta ed adeguata. Tutti i materiali usati per la costruzione e l imballaggio dell unità sono ecologici e riciclabili. Eliminare il materiale di imballaggio rispettando le vigenti normative. SLTIENTO: l momento dello smaltimento, il prodotto deve essere separato dai normali rifiuti urbani. Per questo tipo di prodotti è necessaria una raccolta separata ed uno speciale trattamento. 15 OLOO Preparazione per: Raffrescamento con deumidificazione ITLINO Flusso aria Flusso aria Inserire il tubo flessibile nel convogliatore. Per ottenere le migliori prestazioni avere cura di posizionare il tubo in modo che: - le creste interne della parte flessibile, siano rivolte come rappresentato in figura; - la sua estensione sia ridotta al minimo necessario; - si eviti la formazione di curve, pieghe e restrizioni. vvicinare il climatizzatore alla finestra, allungando il tubo il meno possibile (max. estensione 2000 mm). Per ridurre l apertura della finestra, inserire la bocchetta di espulsione aria all estremità del tubo flessibile, e posizionarla tra le ante della finestra. Verificare che il tubo non formi pieghe o curve troppo strette, e che sia posizionato in modo tale da essere sostenuto da un piano d appoggio (davanzale, pavimento, ). on la ventosa in dotazione bloccare le ante. ssicurarsi che l'espulsione dell'aria calda dalla estremità del tubo sia libera da ostacoli. 16 OLOO Preparazione per: Deumidificazione In modalità deumidificazione disinserire il tubo flessibile dall apposito convogliatore, o posizionarlo come mostrato in figura. Se si volesse utilizzare il tubo flessibile, indirizzando il flusso di aria calda secondo le proprie esigenze, questo deve assolutamente essere sostenuto da un piano di appoggio. La funzione di sola deumidificazione è consigliata ogniqualvolta si desidera togliere umidità all'ambiente senza abbassare la temperatura. OLOO Preparazione per: Deumidificazione Piastra posteriore Foro di scarico Fermatubo Tappo in gomma Fermatubo Tubo di scarico Nel modo di funzionamento OOL o DRY, la condensa viene raccolta nella tanica. Quando la tanica è piena, sul display LD appare il codice d errore 8 e l apparecchio si arresta. Per rimettere in funzione l apparecchio, svuotare la tanica ed arrestare l apparecchio per 3 minuti. Disinserire il cavo di alimentazione prima di svuotare il serbatoio. Per svuotare la tanica, rimuovere il tappo in gomma dal tubo, estrarre il fermatubo e vuotare l acqua di condensa in una vaschetta. Terminata questa operazione, rimettere il tappo sul tubo per impedire perdite di condensa e fissare il tubo di scarico al fermatubo. OLOO Preparazione per: Solo ventilazione Se si desidera usare il climatizzatore nella funzione - solo ventilazione - occorre posizionare il tubo flessibile tutto retratto, e piegato in modo tale che l uscita dell aria risulti il più possibile perpendicolare al pavimento. 21 In caso di ITLINO Se l apparecchio non funziona o sembra non funzionare in modo corretto, prima di contattare il entro di ssistenza Tecnica, verificare che siano state seguite correttamente le istruzioni riportate nel presente libretto l interruttore generale sia acceso, il cavo elettrico non presenti interruzioni e la spina sia stata correttamente inserita nella presa... SET SET ontrollare che i filtri non siano sporchi. Se il climatizzatore non risponde ai comandi, disinserire e inserire nuovamente la spina nella presa elettrica. Se il display LD indica, l alimentazione non è stabile: disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente ed attendere 10 minuti prima di reinserire la spina nella presa. Se il display LD indica, la tanica della condensa è piena: disinserire la spina dalla presa di corrente, vuotare la tanica ed attendere 3 minuti prima di reinserire la spina nella presa. Pulizia gancio gancio PETROL griglia di entrata aria Pulire periodicamente i filtri dell aria situati nella parte posteriore dell apparecchio ogni 30 giorni o più spesso se necessario. Disinserire il cavo di alimentazione prima di procedere alla pulitura. Per l estrazione dei filtri dalle loro sedi, premere i due ganci della griglia per estrarre la scheda della griglia dell aria e quindi estrarre il filtro. Déplacez ou transportez l unité en la maintenant en position verticale (ttention : déconnectez le câble d alimentation de la prise de courant avant de déplacer l unité). Élimination Le climatiseur contient du fluide réfrigérant qui demande un écoulement spécial. la fin de sa durée de vie, il doit être livré aux centres de collecte spéciaux ou au distributeur où le produit sera proprement éliminé. Tous les matériaux utilisés dans la fabrication et l emballage de cette unité sont éco-compatibles et recyclables. Jeter les emballages conformément à la réglementation locale concernant les déchets. Pour améliorer les performances de l unité positionner la gaine: - de manière que les plies intérieures de la partie flexible soient orientées ainsi qu indiqué dans le dessin; - de manière que la gaine soit déroulée le moins possible; - en évitant toute formation de coudes, plies et étranglements. mener le climatiseur près de la fenêtre, en étirant la gaine le moins possible (longueur maximum 2000 mm). Réduire l ouverture de la fenêtre en insérant l embout d évacuation d air sur l extrémité de la gaine et insérer celle-ci entre les volets de la fenêtre. S assurer que la gaine ne soit pas pliée ni courbée selon un coude trop aigu et qu elle soit positionnée sur une surface d appui (rebord de fenêtre, plancher ) oincer l extrémité de la gaine dans la fenêtre entrouverte, à l aide de l attache avec ventouse. Vérifier que l expulsion de l air chaud du bout du tube soit libre d obstacles. Si besoin, la gaine d évacuation d air du climatiseur peut passer par une ouverture pratiquée dans une fenêtre ou dans un mur suivre les instructions dans la section du manuel dédiée à cet accessoire. (L accessoire n est pas compris dans la fourniture). F - 3

26 OLO Préparation pour: la déshumidification En mode déshumidification, extraire la gaine du convoyeur et la positionner ainsi comme l indique la figure. Pour utiliser la gaine et orienter l air chaud soufflé selon vos besoins, la gaine doit être placée sur un support. La fonction déshumidification seule peut être utilisée lorsqu on veut extraire l humidité de l air sans en abaisser la température. OLO Préparation pour: la déshumidification Plaque arrière ouchon en caoutchouc Trou d évacuation lip de fermeture lip de fermeture Tuyau d évacuation En mode de fonctionnement OOL ou DRY (refroidissement ou déshumidification), les condensats sont collectés dans le réservoir. Si le réservoir est plein, le code d erreur 8 est affiché sur le display à cristaux liquides et l unité s arrête. Pour remettre en marche l unité, vider le réservoir et arrêter l unité pendant 3 minutes. Déconnectez le câble d alimentation avant de vidanger le réservoir. Pour vider le réservoir, il faut enlever le bouchon en caoutchouc du tuyau, enlever la clip de fermeture du tuyau et vider les condensats dans une cuve. Remettre en place le bouchon sur le tuyau afin d éviter toute fuite d eau et fixer le tuyau avec la clip de fermeture. OLO Préparation pour: seulement ventilation Si l on utilise le climatiseur en mode ventilation seule, la gaine doit être complètement enfoncée et pliée de façon que la sortie de l air soit perpendiculaire au sol.
